Right on, Joseph. Maybe we won't even need to find an 'Elba' for Abu Omri, as after all there's that Greek Island I heard about...

I can't tell if the picture next to PM Sharon's is that of Syngman Rhee or Mao Tse Tung.

I can tell that PM Sharon has molded a policy between London's "East of Aden" retreat and France's departure from Algeria.

A quote from France's Chief Anti-terrorism Judge is called for: "People say that [Jean-Louis] Bruguiere breaks the law, that he doesn't comply with human rights. They forget the success we had. But this is the French. In the UK, you have the capacity to change peacefully, to have the legal system evolve peacefully. For reasons of history, we don't have the same capacity. Here, the system changes only through revolution." Interview with Michael Steinberger, FINANCIAL TIMES 8,9 Jan 2005.

GOI adopted a lose-lose situation. Now for the negative news: GOI is so institutionally weak violent confrontations with Jews precludes any internal political rehabilation. Already I'm hearing the Israel police tactics used against Israeli citizens were less forceful than that used against arrested Arabs. The argument floating around it that the Arab terrorist prisoners-what's left in Israel's jails-were all coerced into confessions by police tactics.

A Jewish government in Israel is desperately needed.
