More Jews to be deported from their homes in Israel

From JPost:

Amona residents still not evacuating

Despite a the 48-hour deadline set by the army, none of the families in the Amona settlement have begun to evacuate their homes, a settler representative said Thursday.

"We are preparing to make an organized decision, as a community, as to what should be done," said Yifat Ehrich, an Amona resident. "However, it should be kept in mind that many of the families are religious, and will not move on Shabbat."

A senior military official confirmed to The Jerusalem Post that the army expected the settlers to abide by the 48-hour deadline, and that the army would be forced to take further action if the settlers had not evacuated Amona by the end of the weekend.

"We hope it will not come to it, but if we have to take action to [remove them], we will," said the official.

Amona, a settlement of approximately 160 homes, sits three kilometers north of Jerusalem.

IsraPundit is a platform for information and views, not a platform for emotional outpouring. And yet, I cannot refrain from expressing my profound outrage at this deportation. Is that what the Israel Deportation Forces (IDF) has come to?

Amona is 3 km NORTH of Jerusalem?!

I'm glad I no longer make bets and gamble !

Next, I expect to hear Talpiot Mizrach and Gilo are not within Jerusalem's city limits !

I once assembled some investors for a small project at Atarot Airport, Jerusalem, Israel. Fate or Divine Providence (HaShem) intervened otherwise all would have been lost to the barbarians.

Is it fair to guess that Israel's brightest are not in control of defining borders and boundaries ? Does this relate to Hebrew University's sale of land last year to Arabs?

Our problem is internal. The Arabs are being used as a diversion. Please let me repeat this. Our problem is internal. The Arabs are being used as a diversion.
