(IsraelNN.com) Shimshon Cytryn, who remains in jail as the chief suspect in what the media is terming the “lynch” of an Arab youth in Muwasi is being deprived of his basic rights.
Despite earlier reports that the reported victim was actually the primary assailant, the mainstream media continues to portray Cytryn in a most negative light, having already tried and convicted him.
Speaking to Jerusalem resident Marylyn Cytryn, the suspect’s grandmother, it was learned that at present, Shimshon is isolated, alone in a cell, being given clean clothing but nothing else.
He is not permitted books, visitors, and no messages of support. Mrs. Cytryn adds that her grandson’s emotional state continues to deteriorate as the system seems determined to break him before he even has an opportunity to defend himself against the accusations, which have already been disproved by eyewitness statements and film footage of the incident."
