UPDATE ON AVI'S SITUATION, from Friends of Avi
Avi went on trial on Sunday July 10 in front of Tat Aluf (Brigadier General) Kochavi, on the charge of refusing an order. This was done after the Supreme Court nullified the original trial.
Avi was found guilty and was sentenced to 28 days bringing his entire sentence to 56 days. His attorney, Shai Galilee is waiting for the transcripts of the trial in order to make another appeal to the Supreme Court in Jerusalem.
Avi will be going before the Supreme Court Tuesday, July 19 to receive a ruling on the second charge of his conduct. All are invited to attend.

STREET NAMED AFTER AVI
On a lighter note, a street was named after Avi in the town of Gadid in Gush Katif.
MEDIA WATCH
Ralph Bieber, Avi's father, was interviewed on an Australian radio station on Monday July 11, 2005. We will soon add a link on the website to hear it.
