Good News!

by Prof. Paul Eidelberg

Israel is going to be saved from its present tyranny by Moshe Feiglin and his Jewish Leadership Movement (Manhigut Yehudit)!
And how is this miracle to come about?

Easy. They tell us there are only 137,000 Likud members—so all we need to do is finagle more Feiglinites into the Likud, get a majority, and take over that corrupt party.

Seems to me I heard a similar story some years ago, when Mr. Feiglin was first lured into the Likud. We were then told that there are only 80,000 Likud members. Raphi, I loved the article as it really clarified the dillemma facing Zionism politically. We almost need to root against Likud at this point. My question for you is this: If Likud is not to be trusted, as the corrupt expulsionists like Sharon, Ohlmert and all have proven, what then is the answer? Can we form a coalition of National Union, NRP and the Feiglin and Landau wings of Likud into a National Zionist Party? If so, would it be able to attract enough support to challenge the Likud political machine? If so, who would lead it? Benny Elon and Effie Eitam also would probably want to be featured prominently, or even as heads of the ticket.

Your feedback would be most appreciated.

The article from MZ, illustrates the need for a constitution that would limit the number of parties. All members of the knesset should be elected by the voters as should be the head of state. The system now in place is great for our enemies...Divide & Conquer.
