# 32 here. How many more will be duped by 'news sources' such as the ISM? Might as well just run feeds from al-Jazeera and CAIR PR instead of actual information... Posted by: Aaron Eitan Meyer on August 7, 2005 10:12 PM
I've got to disagree with Andrew's post requesting protest action by citizens. GOI allowed ISM members to enter Israel. This is the same GOI that fully monitored Dov Hikind and Helen Friedman's entry into Israel. The USG monitors ISM (believe they are based in California). In pragmatic terms (with exceptions; Ross Perot's rescue of his Iran employees comes to mind.), only governments can impede terror organizations. Private citizen protest actions against ISM must be viewed in the context that there will be a quid pro quo response by this human trash and their allies. They have an organization with allied organizations. We do not, notwithstanding the many earlier era shells housing sinecures. To disable ISM requires a Jewish government in Israel and a Jewish political organization in the diaspora. Currently both are absent from the scene. Bob W is correct... as long as Israel accepts the Rachel Corries of the world and others like her there is no need to censure a portal like Google, Yahoo, or anyone else. Israel maintains an open border policy that allows its enemies free reign over the countryside. As long as Israel doesn't care about who it lets into the country to seeks its destruction, why then should you? Posted by: georg von mecklenburg on August 8, 2005 09:18 AM
To me, ISM is no better than a nazi organization. Posted by: Laura on August 8, 2005 10:17 AM Post a comment |
Google Plans to Give News Agency Status to the International Solidarity Movement (ISM)
By Andrew L. Jaffee; netwmd.com
It irresponsible for Google to confer news agency status on the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). This organization is an apologist for, and an enabler of, terrorism against the people of Israel. A number of ISM members have made pro-terrorist, public statements; have had contact and dealings with terrorists; and a number of guest speakers at ISM “conferences” have direct ties to terrorist organizations.
Google should not legitimize groups like the ISM, and should not provide a platform for these groups’ pro-terrorist, hateful propaganda, cloaked as "news."
There is a big difference between news gathered by professionals under the proper journalistic standards and propaganda produced by terrorism sympathizers.
TAKE ACTION!
