London rally in support of Gush Katif

I received the following report from the organizers of the London rally:

Hundreds Take Part in Anti-Expulsion Vigil and March in London

Some 300 people took part Monday evening in a London vigil, demonstration and march to protest the rewarding of terrorism by the expulsion of Jews from their homes in Gaza and Northern Samaria. Tehillim were recited at the gathering at Golders Green Station in North West London's most populous Jewish district –– organised by The Committee for Eretz Yisrael –– which included the Betar and Cherut Movements. Speakers –– including Rabbi Binyamin Rabinowitz of Edgware and Rav Yisroel Cohen of Beis Menachem, Beis Moshiach, warned of the mistake of rewarding terrorism with territorial –– and other dangerous concessions and emphasised the importance of confronting terrorism, rather than appeasing it. Shoppers and evening commuters joined the marchers, honking their horns, as the group carried placards, some reading “Jews Don’t Expel Jews” and “Disengagement Plan = Surrender to Terror". They, additionally, sang their way down Golders Green Road emblazoned with the orange shirts, caps and ribbons which have become synonymous with the Gush Katif/N. Shomron residents' struggle, in Israel and around the world.
