Oh, That Ceasefire

Oh, That Ceasefire

Only in a world where Israel's enemies openly lie, have everyone know that they're openly lying, and still get away with it - could something as absurd as this be the lede to an AP report:

Palestinian militant groups told an Egyptian envoy Monday they remained committed to a cease-fire with Israel, a day after a suicide bomber blew himself up outside an Israeli bus station, Palestinian officials said... "The calm still exists. We are committed to this... All the factions are committed," Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia said.

They committed themselves to maintaining the ceasefire the day after they broke it! This is like the kid on the playground who throws a rock and then goes to hide behind the teacher - if that kid was a religious fanatic who blows up schoolbusses. And not only does the EU and State Department just nod sagely and praise these terrorists for their restraint - but you can be quite sure that when Israel goes after the murderers who sent the suicide bomber, it's going to be Israel that's blamed for "endangering the ceasefire," not the Palestinians. After all, there's no way that they're endangering it - they just committed to it! Duh.

The lies from the inside are the worst. Lashon hara...from the secular.

Continually lamenting the lies of the media is useless. They lie because it is in their corp[orate interest to do so. A better approach would be to expose WHY they lie.
