Shades of things to come?

Is this a foreshadowing of what Gaza will become after "disengagement"? Maybe Ted Belman and others' scenario is correct, that by giving Gaza to the Palestinians, and making it their responsibility, the world will see the reality of what the Palestinians are about, (lawlessness, chaos and murder) i.e. won't be able to blame Israel (though they will still try, of course).

International Red Cross suspends activity in Gaza
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Monday suspended all its field operations in the Gaza Strip in protest of the deterioration in security.

The ICRC closed its offices in Khan Yunis indefinitely Monday, after gunmen fired dozens of bullets at them. A number of United Nations aid people have been abducted in the Gaza Strip in recent days.

The ICRC said "the ICRC is profoundly worried by the attack on its offices and the kidnapping of workers of international organizations in the Gaza Strip."...

The series of abductions and the shooting at ICRC offices cast doubt over the Palestinian Authority's ability to handle the security problems in the Gaza Strip, enforce quiet during the pullout and prevent chaos afterward.

Palestinian sources reported Monday that the ICRC was holding talks with senior Palestinian officials, including PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, to protest the goings-on in the Strip. The talks were also intended to lead to firmer action by the Palestinian police to put an end to the abductions, which are part of the rivalry among Palestinian security branches...
