Telling it the way it is

Telling it the way it is

In the wake of the schism Abu Omri caused in Israeli society, the Israeli president, Mr WhatsHisName, broadcast a message to the Zionist patriots in Yesha, the essence of which was: capitulate quietly. Here, for the record, is the response from the Zionist camp, according to JPost:

In response to Katsav's speech, the head of the National Union faction and Gush Katif leader MK Tsvi Hendel used the opportunity of Katsav's speech to take a few swings at Prime Minister Ariel Sharon: "It is a pity that we didn't hear the president warn against the findings of the World Bank, which ruled that the Sharon administration is one of the most corrupt in the western world."

"It is a pity that we did not hear him when Sharon acted as a dictator; threw the results of a democratic poll into the trash, fired ministers for their opinions, in order to create an artificial majority in favor of the expulsion program and bought MKs. It is a pity that he doesn't warn about the only extremist who can cause a civil war and bloodshed, whose name is Ariel Sharon," Hendel continued his attack.

Amen.

Very well put. Are we witnessing the only democracy in the ME reverting back to the region's norm? What a shame. What a shame.
