White/blue Stasi comment on democracy
The following incredible commentary by Israeli Police Cmdr Rat Raz appeared in JPost:
The police force spent close to NIS 20 million during the four-day standoff at Kfar Maimon two weeks ago and the past three days in Sderot and Ofakim, Cmdr. Ya'acov Raz, head of Police Logistics Department, told The Jerusalem
Post Wednesday night.
The police, he said, spent extra money on transporting forces from across the country to the two massive demonstrations. The standoff at Kfar Maimon cost the police more than NIS 10 million, he said, and the three-day operation in Sderot and Ofakim, which began on Tuesday and ended Thursday, cost close to NIS 9 million.
The money, Raz said, came from a budget supplement the police received for the disengagement and funded sleeping arrangements, food, fuel, generators and heavy machinery.
Raz slammed the settler leaders who organized the massive demonstrations, claiming the money could have been used more productively.
"It is a waste of money," he said, "and it could have been used for better purposes."
Expanding on this logic, you'd expect the next comment by Cmdr Rat Raz to be as follows:

The white/blue Stasi, having engaged in egregious brutality and child abuse, seem to have no notion as to what democracy is all about. We all know democracy is the worst system of government, "except for all the others". And if freedom of expression is to be squelched, as it is being squelched in Israeli currently, then perhaps we should divorce ourselves from the notion of Israel being "the only democracy in the Middle East".

We like to call them "primitive", or "simple people" to hide the fact that we have failed to provide a proper education for the great majority of our citizens from primitive countries. [Our high-school matricualtion rate is 26%...that is made up mainly by Russian immigrants and children of the Liberal Intelligentsia----of course degrees are for sale here also!]
Sitting in North America you cannot imagine how very dim-witted our bureaucracy and public servants are.
