Yesha Council Condemns Use of Shfaram Incident to Insult Entire Population

From Israel National News:

21:33 Aug 04, '05 / 28 Tammuz 5765

(IsraelNN.com) The Yesha Council announced this evening (Thursday) that it is shocked and severely criticizes the shooting incident in Shfaram that took the lives of innocent people.

The Yesha Council also criticizes the cynical use of the incident by certain political entities to try to make a connection between a serious incident to the democratic, legitimate and nonviolent protest against the expulsion from Gush Katif.

Naming him “a settler” even though he was not a resident of any settlement is an attempt to slander a whole population who is leading a democratic protest in an exemplary way. It would be better to act with more responsibility instead of criticizing only in order to gain dubious political benefits.

"Angry residents killed the 19-year-old killer in a lynch."

"Israel media tried to link the murder with anti-expulsion protests. The Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria (Yesha) denounced the murder. Nationalist Rabbi Chanan Porat told questioning interviewers there is no connection between the protests and the murder."

7 Police Injured by Angry Crowd in Shfaram

22:14 Aug 04, '05 / 28 Tammuz 5765

(IsraelNN.com) Seven policemen were injured this evening while they were trying to distance the angry crowd from the bus in Shfaram.

Originally reported as Eden Tzubari, the police have now announced that the shooter’s name is actually Eden Natan Zada(19). Zada began shooting when the bus reached the Druze area of the city, Shfaram. He emptied an entire magazine, killing four and injuring sixteen. While he was trying to change cartridges, people from the outside managed to overwhelm him. The police reached the scene almost immediately and took over. However, hundreds of angry people began to stone the bus and to try to take over. The police tried to get him out of the bus, but gave up. Half an hour later, a number of furious bystanders managed to get inside the bus and beat Zada until he died.

The police are still unable to get his body out of the bus because of the angry crowd surrounding the area.

The injured, ranging from light to moderate, are being cared for in the Nahariya Hospital

"Israeli Arab Knesset Member Mohammed Barakei blamed the attack on "Jewish incitement."

"The writing was on the wall and such an incident was bound to happen," Barakei said. "It was caused by the constant incitement against the Right by government officials and racists who have called Israeli Arabs a fifth column and worse names. The anger of the people of Shfaram is understandable and I hope it isn't channeled in a destructive way.""

Let's just wait 48 hours to see what comes out of this whole affair.

Questions: -

1)He was "known to authorities" and was AWOL from IDF. Why wasn't he arrested for weeks, free to go about with a weapon? There's lot's of room in Israeli jails for 14 yr. old girls simply WATCHING road blockings, after all....

2)What's this Kach or Kachani Chai (confused reports as to which so far) membership? Barry Chamish says one or both organizations are TOTALLY penetrated by the left wing of the GSS, even to the extent of advising not even VISITING their websites and certainly NOT signing and petitions through them....

3)This is all to 'convenient' of an excuse for the Yassam Unit to begin 'busting heads'. Was this 'shooter' being 'groomed' by GSS agents, a la Raviv? Seems all too much like the Baruch Goldstein Mystery, coming as it did just before the Hebron accords....

4)While it may draw down some mishtarah from the South to police the Triangle, I can't see this in ANY way "helping" the anti-Abu Omri's PA State Empowerment Plan movement. It doesn't figure as a strategy, even if I attempt to put myself "in the shoes" of the most radical Arab transferists. Doesn't make sense, period - so has nothing to do with anti-Expulsion 'philosophy'. Reeks of a GSS plot, I'm afraid.

5) Early reports said it may have been an altercation over a bus seat.

6) Why were the police there in minutes - did they just 'happen' to be close or were they 'tipped off', yet "unable" to prevent his lynching - he was unarmed at that point - ... Dead men don't talk.

Barry calls it "Classic setup". Hearing Sharon speak of "Blood thirsty Jews" made me ill (or iller)

The Reichstag burned to the ground in a fire that was suspect from the beginning. The Sharon Nazi Government needs " Crazies" like this man to create " good will" for their side. We all know that Sharon will win this battle of diengagement while in the end Israel will be dismembered and eventually be destroyed.

More scapegoats will emerge, and more will add fuel to the people seeking Israel's destruction. The cycle of violence has begun. Stay tuned for the next action to be placed upon the heads of the settlers.y
