"You are occupying stolen property."

"You are occupying stolen property."

The legacy of murder and conquest left behind by an Arab barbarian with grandiose religious delusions has claimed its latest victory.

Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz has issued an order to evacuate a controversial Jewish outpost in the heart of the Old City of Hebron, long one of the Middle East's most combustible powder kegs.

The outpost, which settlers call the Rinat Shalhevet neighborhood and Palestinians the Situnai Market, served as a Palestinian wholesale market until 1994 and is now home to 11 Jewish families. ...

Hebron community leader Noam Arnon slammed the decision, saying that "every Jew will rise up against such a thing to take the lands of the victims of Islamic terror and give it to the murderers."

He called the government's targeting of outposts, and especially those in Hebron, the second most sacred city to Jews, the work of a government that "is cruel and heeds no limits."

So, the tenuous grasp that Jews have struggled to maintain on Hevron is now to be broken. I know it's been on the chopping block for a while and I know that Israel does what it says it will. It's just the latest in a litany of sacrifices that Israelis continue to make in the hopes of a very unlikely peace; and it's the latest victory for Muhammad's arrogant minions. And I guess it may effectively be the end of a sacred 3,700 year-old story for the Jewish people.

Said Rabbi Yuden the son of Simon: ” This [the Cave of the Machpelah in Hevron —ed.] is one of the three places that the nations (of the world) can never castigate the Jewish people and say “you are occupying stolen territory”. These are the three places: The Cave of the Machpelah, the Holy Temple Mount and Joseph’s burial site. The Cave of the Machpelah because it is said: ”And Abraham counted out to Ephron the money he had spoken of to the sons of Het--four hundred shekels of valid currency” (Gen. 23:16).

What a shame.

The real shame is not that the Ottomans, the British or the GOI is eliminating a Jewish presence in Hebron. The real shame is that time and effort was not made available to establish a Jewish government in Israel.

With a Jewish government, all of Jerusalem, Hebron and Bethlehem, that city so dear to Christians would be within sovereign Jewish territory.

America's 40 million Christians who revere both Bethlehem and Jerusalem would inform their political representatives......The Arabs would relocate.......

The real shame has been the acceptance of a secular government that repudiates Judaism. All else are really the manifestations of the ultimate issue.
