Not enough Jews to go around
Not enough Jews to go around
The Point of No Return is a blog on the Middle East's forgotten Jewish refugees. It's a great blog which works to redress the wrong done to Jewish refugees from Arab countries.
In a post Will there be Jews in Palestine? it selects a quote from Tunisian-born French writer Marco Koskas ( via Primo-Europe.com).
In the aftermath of the Gaza withdrawal and on the threshold of declaring their own state of Palestine, the Palestinians ought to learn from Nelson Mandela's South Africa and jettison an outdated concept of Arab nationalism that inevitably entails the 'ethnic cleansing' of Jews,
This post is supportive of the proposition that Jews should be permitted by the Arabs to live in Arab areas including the future Palestine, just as Arabs live in Israel.
I have a different take. There are not enough Jews to go around. I want them concentrated in Israel. The expulsion of Jews from Arab lands was and remains a huge tragedy for the Jewish refugees specifically and Jews in general. But it was good for Israel. Israel is all the better and stronger for it.

Apart from Jordan, formerly part of historic Palestine, we now have Gaza, ethnically cleansed of Jews ie Judenrein, we now have the future Palestinian State in the making free of Jews.
