ISM Olive Harvest 2005 Israel Hate Fest in Manhattan and White Plains, NY

by Jerry Gordon, a former U.S. military intelligence officer, writer and activist who resides in Connecticut, with the assistance of StopTheISM

The ISM is rolling out its Olive Harvest 2005 fundraising and phony non-violent road show in American churches across the USA in support of PLO terrorism beginning Friday night in Manhattan and moving on to White Plains Saturday afternoon.

Lots of confirmed dates are also set in churches in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area

The two speakers, Israeli Anarchist Jonathan Pollak and Palestinian
Ayed Morar, both convicted criminals, are now in our country and poised to unleash their anti-Israel diatribes among the unknowing. They want to convince them that the terrorist supporters are really a peace movement crowd. Their idea of "peace" is Israel turned into another islamofascist state called "Palestine" from "the sea to the river."

According to Stop The ISM founder, Lee Kaplan, at the ISM/PSM hatefest at Duke Univeristy last year, "Huwaida Arraf openly boasted that the ISM works with terrorist groups such as PFLP, Islamic Jihad and Hamas."

If you go to protest, make sure you tell them that Israel has every
right to complete the security barrier in the face of suicide bombings, stonings, torchings and other terrorist chaos in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria)and Gaza, especially now that the expulsion has resulted in continued missile attacks on Southern Israel as well as civil war between the Fatah Al Aqsa Brigade and Hamas. Now even al Qaeda cadres are infiltrating the Sinai even as you read this.

Go and protest. LOUDLY

Ayed Morrar and Jonathan Pollak are friends and among the major figures in the Palestinian led, Israeli-supported nonviolent struggle against Israel's military occupation. Largely unreported by the media, thousands of Palestinians and hundreds of Israelis are waging a major grassroots nonviolent campaign of resistance to the construction of Israel's Wall. Palestinian farmers, workers, mothers, and students, together with Israeli and international volunteers, are braving teargas, beatings, bullets, arrest, and even death to block the construction of the Wall with their bodies.

Ruled illegal by the International Court of Justice in 2004, the Wall appropriates Palestinian land and destroys villages for more Israeli settlements. In a victory for nonviolence, Ayed led his community of Budrus in a peaceful campaign of 50 protest marches to stop the construction of the Wall on Budrus' land.

Jonathan has participated in over 200 West Bank protests and has helped to mobilize hundreds of Israelis to join Palestinians in resisting the Wall. Both Ayed and Jonathan have been imprisoned for their prominent roles in the nonviolent movement.

Background on the ISM from Stop The ISM

ADVOCACY OF VIOLENCE

As stated by ISM leaders Adam Shapiro and Huwaida Arraf, in a January 2002 article in the Palestine Chronicle: 'The Palestinian resistance must take on a variety of characteristics -- both nonviolent and violent. But most importantly it must develop a strategy involving both aspects..."

Charlotte Kates, the organizer of the New Jersey Solidarity Movement -- an offshoot of the International Solidarity Movement -- has refused to condemn homicide bombings and other means of “armed resistance."

Shapiro and Arraf add that the Palestinian people have the right to
"resist the occupation" by force but it is well known that Palestinians do not fight the Israeli Defense Forces if they can avoid it. The "violent characteristics" are normally directed against civilians, including women and children. Unitarian and Catholic beliefs do not condone terroristic violence, so should this church be hosting the International Solidarity Movement?

GIVING SAFE HOUSE AND SIMILAR AID TO ACTUAL TERRORISTShttp://home.comcast.net/~jat.action/ISM_info.htm Susan Barclay, the ISM organizer deported by Israel after she hid Islamic Jihad terrorist Shadi Sukiya in the ISM office in Jenin, told the Seattle Post Intelligencer that, "she knowingly worked with representatives from Hamas and Islamic Jihad -- terrorist groups that sponsor suicide bombings and exist, according to their charters, to demolish the Jewish state entirely."

Group members have also reported Israeli troop movements to armed Palestinian units", Bedein said, and they intervene at checkpoints to facilitate the transit of Palestinians who may be terrorists.

POSSIBLE COMPLICITY IN THE LONDON MASS TRANSIT BOMBINGS
http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=19145 The
ISM-London Bombing Connection
, FrontPageMagazine.com | August 16, 2005

"Among the less publicized details of the July 7th London bombings is the connection of one of the possible terrorists, Muhammad Sadique Khan, to the preeminent group of the pro terrorist “solidarity” movement, the International Solidarity Movement (ISM)."

Do members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards enter Israel at DBG Airport with visas or do they smuggle themselves in via the Sinai? Are ISM members given entrance visas? ISM is either a lawful organization or it is not.

If we can read here that ISM leader Adam Shapiro published a statement supporting violence, the Israel Police, when not arresting 14 year old Jewish girls, can read it also.

Sometimes the easiest and fastest way to prevent a problem from mushrooming is also the most productive. Stop them before these terrorist sympathizers (at best) enter Israel. This presumes GOI wants to stop them.
