Joseph you wrote: Well Bush does not have to allow him to. After all, the past how many years have the Palestinians been at the job of slaughtering innocent Israelis? But together for very bankrupt reasons they will do their best to squeeze the life out of Israel. We expect this from Mazen but Bush? What does this tell you? Yah yah, I hear it is in the national interest to turn the murderous Palestinian society into a law abiding democracy. However we all know you can not give democracy. Democracy must be earned. It must be yearned for. Every inch of Palestinian society reeks with hate. Thus far we so no painful scarifies on the part of Palestinians to even signal a willingness to journey down the road to democracy. But hey, they don't have to. For a state and a drummed up phony democracy is being handed to them on a silver platter with no regard for the horrific consequences. In the mean time the Palestinian CIA trained security forces continue to march to the nazi goosestep wearing black ski masks while Hamas is soon to become part of the government. All this and much more will be recorded to have happened with the help of George Bush. History will write how such a thing could happen. This will be his legacy. All contrary mind you to his initial promises. BTW: Sure, other presidents are guilty of the same but this is the here and now and it stinks. The reason not to move the embassy to Jerusalem well we all know why. The plan is to pressure Israel to ultimately internationalize Jerusalem. Bush knows it and so do we. Bush the good friend and supporter of Israel. Bush the president we THOUGHT to be the most pro-Israel of them all. The last time Bush axed the embassy act Prince Saud bragged: Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, praised the decision of US President George W. Bush to once again delay the implementation of the decision of the US government to move its embassy to Jerusalem. "The embassy's movement is a recognition of Israeli fait accompli which is not wanted by anyone. Consequently, returning the U.S. policy to the previous position is welcomed," Al-Faisal to the Saudi news agency. Bush sometimes needs to be reminded how the Palestinians danced in the streets handing out sweets in celebration after the hijacked planes crashed into the Twin Towers. It seems his memory is short. Posted by: Leonard on October 20, 2005 04:06 PM
It is more than clear that Bush, like many of his predecessors, is engaged in a war to destroy Israel. I have posted numerous IsraPundit articles documented my thesis, and one may find them by using IsraPundit's search engine (middle of right-hand column) with the term "war against Israel" in quotation marks. One should also reiterate the many articles by Prof Gil-White and Jared Israel (of TENC, http://emperors-clothes.com/), articles which have been highlighted in IsraPundit's articles in the past. In particular, one should emphasize Prof Gil-White's work at http://www.hirhome.com/israel/ihrally.htm. Countering Saudi oil and petrodollars is no task. The people for whom Bush is creating another Arab state
In a report that requires no further commentary, AP reports:
Meantime, Abu Mazen is meeting Bush, as part of an ongoing campaign to squeeze the life out of Israel. It's enough to make one despair.
