ACT NOW TO STOP THE AGREEMENT

ACT NOW TO STOP THE AGREEMENT

AN URGENT APPEAL FOR ACTION BEFORE ISRAEL IS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED!!

GET THIS OUT TO YOUR LISTS !!!

I, Gabrielle Goldwater, am myself joining the support to Arlene's action alert below:

What I like to add is, that the EU first has to have a joint agreement in Brussels to actually agree to the Security Mission, which has NOT YET either taken place.

The meetings about this mission to the borders security will only start this coming Monday and has to pass EU vote.

Please read Arlene's explanations and ACT NOW ... we cannot take Rice's and Bush's pressure arrangements sitting down.

PLEASE CALL and write to the given addresses below.
Copies of Letters are posted below.

ACT NOW......... Israel's security is at risk !

November 18, 2005

I am calling on everyone who receives this to act on behalf of Israel's security. We are all aware of the horrendous agreement that Condoleezza Rice coerced on the government of Israel with regard to Rafah.

It seems (this is from Steve Rodan of the Middle East News Line) that the agreement has not actually been signed yet. It may not be too late to stop it, and we must at least try. We all know of the Palestinian duplicity with regard to honoring agreements, but now we have evidence of this that must be publiced absolutely as widely and as quickly as possible.

On November 17, an article about the agreement appeared on the website of the Palestinian National Authority's International Press Center (an official site). In part it read:

Meanwhile, the director of borders and crossings, Salim Abu Safiyyeh, asserted that there won't be any live video streams to the Israeli side via the surveillance cameras installed in Rafah terminal, pointing out that even the joint control room will not receive these live feeds, and will be only for the presence of the third party that will monitor the borders.

This is in direct defiance of the agreement, which said that a liaison office, headed by the third party (the EU) would receive real time video and data feed from Rafah that the Israelis would have access to.

We must use this information.

In the States, I call upon you to contact Sec. Rice and President Bush with this.

A hard copy letter is absolutely the most effective means of conveying the message -- whether the letter is mailed or faxed.

Other than this, a phone call would be good, and an e-mail, which can be readily deleted, or can simply clog up mailboxes, the last resort.

Where faxes are concerned, I have acquired multiple fax numbers within the U.S. gov't. Please, when sending a fax, include a cover letter that says, as appropriate, it is for the direct attention of the president or the secretary of state.

Please, take the time now.

I cannot emphasize enough that VOLUME of response counts so that your participation is needed.

Letters to the editors of papers all over the country are also extremely important. You will have to locate addresses for your respective papers. Often letters can be sent by e-mail.

Here in Israel, there must be letters to the editors of papers as well as communication to Defense Minister Mofaz, who negotiated the deal, and MK Yuval Steinitz, who chairs the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Wherever possible these communications should be in Hebrew.

There are two attachments to this posting.

One provides sample letters.

The letters include all of the pertinent information -- and in the ones to the Israeli contacts there are some specific mentions.

But please, try to change the wording, while retaining the details of information exactly and the sense of it.

The other provides the contact information -- snail mail addresses, phone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses.

Please take the time to forward this to everyone you think might help. You can simply forward this as is.

Get this on as many sympathetic lists as possible. And quickly.

Here in Israel, I am rushing to complete this before Shabbat. I wish to make it clear that I am not requesting or advocating that any Jew continue this effort over Shabbat.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Arlene

The Honorable Condoleezza Rice

Secretary of State

U.S. Department of State

I was outraged at the way you coerced Israel into relinquishing control over security at the Rafah passage. Without question you knew that the Palestinian Authority does not honor agreements and protects terrorists – and yet you chose to proceed anyway.

Now, already, we have the direct evidence of the bad intentions of the Palestinian Authority. On November 17, an article about the agreement appeared on the website of the Palestinian National Authority’s International Press Center (http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_new/english/details.asp?name=11835). In part it read:

This is in direct defiance of the agreement, which said that a liaison office, headed by the third party (the EU) would receive real time video and data feed from Rafah that the Israelis would have access to.

I hold you accountable for this deplorable situation, and I intend to publicize as widely as possible the evidence of what is going on. It must be stopped before terrible damage occurs.

Dear President Bush,

I was outraged at the way Secretary of State Rice, acting on your behalf, coerced Israel into relinquishing control over security at the Rafah passage. Without question you knew that the Palestinian Authority does not honor agreements and protects terrorists – and yet you chose to proceed anyway.

US papers

To the Editor:

The deal coerced on Israel by Secretary of State Rice regarding arrangements at the Rafah passage between Egypt and Gaza is unacceptable because it deprives Israel of sufficient control regarding who would be allowed to pass. Control was put in the hands of the Palestinian Authority, but it is common knowledge that the PA protects terrorists and breaks agreements.

Already, we have direct evidence of the intentions of the PA.

This situation cannot be tolerated! Our government is responsible and the deal must be stopped.

______

Israeli papers

To the Editor:

Defense Minister Mofaz made a serious mistake in bowing to the pressure of Secretary of State Rice and agreeing to unsafe arrangements with the PA at the Rafah crossing. The PA protects terrorists and breaks agreements, and yet control was put in Palestinian hands.

We already have direct evidence of the bad intentions of the PA. On November 17, an article about the agreement appeared on the website of the Palestinian National Authority’s International Press Center (http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_new/english/details.asp?name=11835). In part it read:

It is not too late: This deal must be stopped. Every honorable member of the Knesset must stand up in opposition to it.

I was extremely upset that you agreed to the arrangements at Rafah that Secretary of State Rice pushed on you. It represents a danger to our country, for as we all know that the PA protects terrorists and breaks agreements.

Already, we have direct evidence of the intentions of the PA.

This whole agreement must be stopped before it is too late and terrible damage is done.

Dear MK Steinitz,

You knew the dangers of having Egypt at the border between Gaza and the Sinai and spoke out about it. You, surely, were horrified at the deal struck on Rafah pushed on us by Secretary of State Rice and agreed to by Minister of Defense Mofaz. You know that it represents a danger to our country because the PA protects terrorists and breaks agreements.

Already, we have direct evidence of the intentions of the PA. On November 17, an article about the agreement appeared on the website of the Palestinian National Authority’s International Press Center (http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_new/english/details.asp?name=11835). In part it read:

The US and the EU are out to hammer through a terrorist Palestinian state. The plans for this have been laid a long time ago.

In another post I said that Bush and Rice were typical of the American rulers and are antisemitic. I said this because they are fully cognizant that their actions are going to lead to Jewish deaths. This is a horrible thought in 2005 but it is best to know what we are dealing with.

I support any and every action no matter if they seem hopeless. But note that Rices speech was given in front of many upper class Jews and by the accout she was cheered to the rafters.

We need to have a very cool appraisal of where we are at and what are the forces ranged against us. We must be fearless. If Bush is an antisemite we must say so. If Jewish people are betraying we must also say so openly.

I believe that all Jews must break with America, mobilise all possible support among Christian supporters, make new links with ethnic peoples in America. Jews must seek allies worldwide and not be tied to past thinking. The world is in flux.

The Left are now Islamofascist. Perhaps it is the Jews destiny again to lead.

I wish to comment on Gabrielle Goldwater's endorsement of Arlene's call to action, and by implication my comment applies to all those who endorsed Abu Omri's Deportation Plot.

Gabrielle fully endorsed Abu Omri's ethnic cleansing of 10,000 Jews who lived in Gaza and Samaria. It was clear from Day 1, that bashing your own people and surrendering to the enemy without a shot has consequences. One of the major consequences is presenting Israel as the "weak horse", to use Bin Laden's terms, and presenting the Arabs as the victors. This emboldens both the Arab terrorists and the terrorist huggers - the EU and Foggy Bottom in particular. If you now observe that these entities hound Israel and extract more concessions, then you are observig inevitable consequences of the "original sin" of Abu Omri's plot. You have no right to complain, for your support for Abu Omri led inevitably to these results. And worse is to come.

I've been repeating ad nauseam: Israel needs an Iron Wall - Abu Omri offers a curtain of fluff.

Hi Joseph,

I think that those of us who weren't bedazzled by the fact that Sharon was once a tough general who became Israel's leader, and thought he could do no wrong, knew what would arise out of the "disengagement".

Israel will have to hand over more and more and more, but with a road going through Israel from Gaza to the West Bank, that's where the serious problems arise and where the country will be cut in half.

I remember talking to people and posting warnings LAST YEAR about the demand by the US for a "CONTIGUOUS" Palestinian state which would cut Israel in half. You did too, but the problem at the time was that hardly anyone believed us.

The big problem now, is that there are still the vast majority who believe that Amerikkka is Israel's friend (even though they put their oil interests over and above Jewish lives), and that there's a method to their madness. There isn't - and it's time people woke up and saw that the US, led by the Saudi/Bush administration, has been lying and pushing Israel into a corner, from which she may never recover - UNLESS of course the very weak and corrupt Israeli government now have the balls to say the deal's off!

Otherwise, any savvy Israelis should vote for HAZIT in the forthcoming elections.
