An Italian judge indicted this heroic defender of Western Civilization for "vilifying Islam" but she is fortunately in New York and beyond the reach of this individual's authority. I would be delighted to have Ms. Fallaci become an Italian-AMERICAN, we need people like her.

Nothing less than willfull self-censorship by the likes of Reuters and the BBC who were filling up columnar inches with more important stories like that of sonic booms over Gaza.

Reuters UK also still has good photographic coverage of the Rome- Israel solidarity demo showinging the enthusiasm of the thousands of supporters singing and dancing and contrasting it with the dozen burka clad pro-Iranian supporters who turned up in Tehran to protest outside the Iranian Embassy. Not surprisingly it received no coverage in the UK - where the Media like to give exaggerated coverage to every anti-American/anti-Israel Demo that never attract more than a few hundred supporters at the most. In London four years ago at Trafalgar Square a pro-Israel Demo attracted sixty thousand supporters but the media only gave it a few seconds coverage as the last news item and no significant politician turned up unlike in Italy, although we did have thousands of Christian supporters present.
