Iranian hatred cause for concern

By Carmi Levy (The London Free Press):
I got a chill down to the base of my spine when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Israel a Zionist blot that must be "wiped off the map."

When the leader of a nuclear-capable nation that actively supports terrorism viciously attacks the right of another nation to exist, we are all at risk. As a Jew, it frightens me to my very core. Ahmadinejad has called for the end not only of the country, but of the people who populate it. It's anti-Semitism raised to its ugliest level since the close of the Second World War.

A quick reminder might help clarify who truly deserves to remain within the community of nations: when the Iranian city of Bam was decimated by an earthquake in 2003, Israel was one of the first nations to volunteer its resources and expertise.

Iran refused, and instead asked all nations of the world, "except the Zionist regime," for help.

Regardless, Israel would likely offer to help again. Iran's racist leader might want to ponder this.

Somebody please tell me, again, why the Bush Administration is touting, as a good thing, the rise of the Sistani-Jaafari Shiite-dominated government in Iraq-- you know, the one closely allied with Iran, mentored by the Iranian-born Sayyid Ali Sistani, practically run by the Iranian-trained Badr Brigades? WTF????

If the US leaves Iraq with these ultra-religious allies of Iran in power, Israel's in big trouble-- then Iran would have not only its own resources to draw on, but the ample oil wealth of Iraq, plus plenty of Shiite Arab cannon fodder to go and kill a few thousand Israelis.

I'm only wondering if Bush and his supposedly pro-Israeli Jewish neocon allies like Perle and Wolfowitz, actually harbor a secret hatred of Israel. HOW COULD THEY BE SO STUPID? Why is Bush spending hundreds of billions of American dollars to prop up the Jaafari/Sistani government?

Why are the US and British still basically allowing the Badr Brigades to take control of security? The British I can sort of understand-- they've never forgiven the Israelis for kicking the Brits' ass with that humiliating defeat in 1948 when they were forced out, accelerating the crumbling of their empire. The Brits would like nothing more than to see Israel's destruction.

But the Americans? They've been Israel's best friend, and now the Bush Administration and his fellow idiots like Condi Rice and Dick Cheney are effectively midwifing the development of Israel's most dangerous enemy in its 60-year history.

The US should be attacking the offices of the Badr Brigades as the terrorists that they are, certainly shouldn't be supporting the fundamentalist government of Jaafari and Sistani. This is an outrage!

Consider this side of the coin:
Ahmadinejad is certainly facing silent opposition within his country.
A dramatic gesture like waving the 'hate Israel' pennant will be suitable for identifying and persecuting iranians who are not backing his stupid and old-fashioned theocracy.

Israel needs to concentrate on making a synthetic oil instead of working for a cure for cancer. Oil is the motivating key here. If Iran and Iraq didn't have any oil, would anyone really care who or what these people have to say? Most probably no. They have the oil and we in the world need their oil. It's as simple as that.

Germany ran its entire war machine on oil made from coal. The USA and Canada sit on billions of tons of coal, along with Germany and France. We need to make oil from coal and then tell the Moslem nations along with Mexico and Venezuela to go to hell.

Until we all have a substitute for oil, we will be slaves to the oil cartel and will do the bidding of our masters.

The Sunni rule of Iraq is what prevented the country from becoming a satellite state of Iran. The Shiites, who we have all heard so many times now, have a 65% majority and this is the reason why Saddam took such a hard line stance against this segment of the population. The division between Iraq and Iran is an artificial line in the sand drawn up by the Western powers. Iran has always had designs on expanding into Iraq, particularly because Najaf is the holiest site for Shiite Muslims in the world. The fact that America has completely decimated Saddam's Sunni regime creates a real problem with respect to preventing further Iranian influence in Iraq and the region as a whole. When the American public starts getting tired of hearing about their sons getting killed, and they decide to leave this mess after installing their puppet regime (which will not rule Iraq in the same way that Karzai does not rule Afghanistan - it has become a goldmine now for the Russian mafia), it will be open season for Iran. Why do you think they are in such a rush to develop their nuclear arsenal? This will be a preventative tactic to keep anyone from interfering in their affairs after they decide to annex a portion of Iraq and incite Shiite/Sunni civil war. Keep in mind that Iran does not have the dependence on America that the other Middle Eastern countries have, and they have instead diligently worked towards forging strategic and ecomomic alliances with Russia and China, both of which have no desire to see America succeed in Iraq. Their interests would be better served by having Iran dominate the region, capture Iraq's oil reserves and emerge as a strategic rival to Israel (created by the West, for the West). America fucked themselves (excuse the foul mouthed language- I'm usually not this crass).
