The Future of Israel lies in Building E-1: Listen to this important discussion on WNWR.com, 12:30PM ET in North America

by Jerry Gordon, former U.S. military Intelligence officer, writer, activist who lives in Connecticut

Boker Tov to you in North America, Europe and Israel.

Today's program on the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) Middle East News Hour on WNWR.com at 12:30PM ET is about pressuring Sharon to build E-1, Now!!! The E-1 project would fill in the gaps between towns in Judea, and provide vital road network to connect with Jerusalem and control the border along the Jordan river.

The ZOA Middle East News hour originates out of Philadelphia with Lori Lowenthal Marcus and Steven Feldman, President and executive director of the regional chapter. It is broadcast at 12:30PM ET USA which makes it evening in Europe and Israel.

For my cousins and their fellow residents in Ma'aleh Adumim the building of E- 1 is critically important in protecting the integrity and security of the State of Israel.

One American supporter of Israel in an email exchange this morning gave us the bottom line of the E-1 argument as follows:

“……..the stress on E-1 has everything to do with not only keeping
Jerusalem in Israel's hands, but also on the survivability of the
country. The Arabs plan on building up the area in order to de facto
put their facts on the ground. Allowing them to do this would be
declaring full blown war on Israel
.

The question to Sharon should be - if he intends to NEVER divide Israel
as he insists, then the ONLY way to prove it is to build up the E-1.
Otherwise, his proclamations mean nothing BECAUSE the Arabs will
already have their facts on the ground.”

This program on the Middle East News hour will hopefully communicate the importance of the E-1 issue to supporters in North America, Europe and Israel.

This is a special alert to you to be prepared to listen to this important radio program via the internet at WNWR.com and be prepared to call in via SKYPE out or whatever low cost access means you may have. The number to call in questions and comments is: 610-667-9697.

Re: horses-carts; carts-horses

ZOA's plea could have been for Yamit or Atarot or Metulla.

ZOA's efforts and resources should be focused on explaining - not pressuring - why there is an urgent need for a Jewish, district representative, parliamentary government in Israel. Jews are slow learners but they've caught on that E1 could be Arab territory as soon as their check to ZOA Philadelphia cleared the bank.

If E1 warrants as much critical status as ZOA Philadelphia claims, Israel's Ministry of Defense would be moving there right now.

I believe Israel already has a division problem from the announced contiguous Palestine to be declared next year.

If ISrael does not field a representative Jewish government soonest, expect the State of Israel to devolve into an enclave from the western suburbs of Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. Look at the maps.
