'We Won't Forget or Forgive'

'We Won't Forget or Forgive'

According to JPost, Abu Omri "had not ruled out a unilateral withdrawal from the West Bank". It is, therefore, encouraging to learn from Arutz 7 that Israel's remaining patriots are neither down nor out:

Thousands at 'We Won't Forget or Forgive' Rally

Thousands of nationalists are rallying at this hour in Jerusalem under the slogan, "We Will not Forget and We Will not Forgive." The establishment of a new museum in memory of the expulsion victims is to be announced toward the end of the rally at the Jerusalem Convention Center.

Awards were handed out to soldiers who refused orders to participate in the expulsion of Jewish residents from their homes in the Gaza and northern Samaria areas. Eran Sternberg, spokesman for the former Gaza Coast Regional Council, called on youth not to enlist in the army until the IDF "returns to be the army that defends Israel."

These people are not nationalists...they are dellusional. Yes...we have all gone through a painful summer but "never to forgive"? Why?

This is not Judaism.
It continues to sadden me to see you push this line.

Dear EOTW:

Starting with your last line, what I "push" is utterly irrelevant. But this is relevant: what Israeli patriots vow, and that includes 10,000 Jews deported from their home for reasons spelled out in "Boomerang".

Why "never to forgive"? So that the next Abu Omri who deports Jews should know in advance what to expect.

"This is not Judaism". Well what is Judaism - does it encompass handing over portions of the Land of Israel into the hands of terrorists? Do enlighten me.

"These people are not nationalists...they are dellusional [sic!]." This happens to be the majority view among Likud members and central committee members - the very people whom Abu Omri ignored with contempt. They are the people who elected Abu Omri on a platform of opposing the surrender of territory to terrorists. If all these are "delusional", then there is a great deal of "delusion" among the Right-thinking people in Israel.

Unfortunately, the validity of your arguments matches you spelling of "delusional".
