Yes. And then what? Wye II? Back to contemplating returning the Golan to Syria? Where is BobW with a sharp reminder of what will continue to be wrong with the GOY (Government Of Yisrael)? Posted by: ShyGuy on December 26, 2005 02:06 PM
Likud and its new "mis"leader, Netanyahu is as hypocritical and corrupt as Sharon was and is. He has already shown his penchant to ignore democracy by trying to ban Moshe Feiglin from Likud proposing an amendment to Likud's charter that says nobody with a criminal background can run for Knesset. Will he should start by banning himself because he has the blood of little Shlahevet Pass on his hands....directly culpable for her murder which was of course done by a sniper hiding in the Abu Sneineh Hills in Hebron which Netanyahu gave back to the arabs at Wye. Should someone who perpetrated murder and treason be allowed to be the leader of Likud while at the same time preventing a patriot who was participating in civil disobedience which is allowed in a democracy from holding office ? I guess Netanyahu's crimes pale in comparison to Sharon's, a hugely corrupt and criminal dictator...so people are apt to look the other way. Posted by: Ken on December 26, 2005 06:10 PM
Shalom ShyGuy, I'm still here. Got busy addressing a Church's men's club about Bethlehem and how the barbarians are continuing to make the place into a pig sty. My kippa was a black one I modified with a trim of orange parachute cord. Our immediate - and ultimate - problem is not the barbarians. They've always been around. Our recurring problem is the defectors who went over the the King of Babylon. None of this stuff is new in Jewish history. Appreciate you thinking of me. No adversary opposes Him twice. Caroline ends a longish JPost analysis of what the rogue PM wrought with this hopeful conclusion:
"If the Likud builds its political campaign on a two-pronged strategy of demonstrating the emptiness and failure of Sharon's strategic moves and underscoring Sharon's health problems - while positioning itself just to the right of the center of Israel's political spectrum - the Likud will succeed in hitting Sharon at his weak points while building on its own strengths".
