Maybe the residents should fire live rounds at the invaders. Perhaps then the world will take notice that the settlement is for real and the settlers are meaning to stay and cultivate the land....But wait... we are dealing with Jews here...They wouldn't stoop that low as to protect themselves and their land. Maybe it is just as well that the land is given back to the murderous Palestinians. We all know that peace is at hand with the new rulers of Palestine... Hamas. This is senseless all this mindless violence. Particularly in the light of the Hamas victory. Can't Olmert see the Road Map is over ? There is no partner for peace - no one to hand back chunks of the West Bank to other than the Terrorists. Amona is not Gaza - its part of Eretz Israel. What is he trying to prove by using all this force on civilian protestors ? Does he think it will help his election chances ? He is no Sharon - and may find himself disappointed when the people go to the polls and remove him from power in the forthcoming elections. Amona Activists Say No One Will Use Live Gunfire
From Israel National News:
Amona leaders responded angrily to accusations fed to the media that opponents to the eviction might use live gunfire at security forces.
Representatives of the Amona residents and supporters told the media that the reports are baseless, and as was the case in Gaza, no one is planning to fire at security forces at anytime, explaining the reports to the media are nothing more than attempts to discredit opponents to the expulsion.
