PA Death Cult Elections Wrap-Up

Did Palestinian Arabs give the greenhat mujahideen killers of Hamas a landslide victory because they were fed up with the corrupt cronyism and ineffectiveness of Fatah, or because they support the virulently hateful, genocidal agenda of Hamas? If you stop to think about it, it doesn't really matter, because Israel—along with all Western nations that politically and materially prop up this invented, bellicose people—loses either way.

But since the people have chosen the Islamic terrorists over the secular corruptocrats, what Israel must now face is a bitter, hostile mini-khilafa right on its doorstep. Anyone who's bothered to read Hamas' charter, or the Koran, understands that the charade of Palestinian Arab democracy and peaceful coexistence with Israel is now at its end.

Not that a fair portion of the Middle East is bothered by such a contingency. In fact, as far as some folks in the region are concerned, it's all martyrdom and sweets from here on out. (salute to LGF and Link Mecca)

Of course, though, not everyone is quite so sanguine about the prospects of a revival of the wholesome medieval Islamic values of sharia, jihad, and... dhimmitude. But you know, if God had wanted the dhimmis to be happy, he would have made them Muslims. Subhan Allah.

Finally, President Bush is saying the right things, but will he follow through—and I mean really follow through? He's earned boatloads of this kafir's respect, but he'll lose a lot of credibility in the eyes of fair and reasonable people if he doesn't do right by Israel now.

The upshot here is that the battle lines have been starkly drawn, and the mujahideen think they've got what it takes to seriously challenge the little Satan (again). I imagine that Iran figures into their calculus of hatred and violence also.
