The Palestinian Culture of Death

In Robert Sheckley's The Victim from Space, violent death was the highest reward to which any citizen could aspire. Violent death was earned by performing deeds that served the society, with "rewards" (in ascending order) consisting of being bashed over the head with a mace, having poisoned slivers driven under one's fingernails, being burned alive, being staked out on an anthill, and something known as "The Ultimate." Suicide, such as arranging to have a tree with long spines fall on yourself or arranging to have a bridge collapse under you, was considered a sin that resulted in punishment in the afterlife. The Palestinians have actually succeeded in creating a dysfunctional society that once existed only in the minds of science fiction authors.
This is another installment on a series of articles about the Palestine Solidarity Movement's vision statement for the Palestinian people as well as Christians, women, and gay people under Palestinian rule. The PSM has endless condemnation for Israel, a democracy that lives under rule of law and whose laws uphold the natural human rights of all people.
The PSM, however, has nothing to say about a culture that one would think exists only in science fiction and fantasy worlds. We have Sheckley's dystopia in which people seek violent death as a path to the god Thangookari, and then there was Logan's Run in which everyone was killed on their thirtieth birthdays. Edgar Rice Burroughs created a society whose members advanced in station by committing murder; successful killers earned yellow robes, then red ones, and finally blue ones. And now we have Palestinians.
As seen here, Palestinians raise their children from birth to be suicide bombers. As shown here, one Hamas sow-- I refer to it as a sow because, like a typical female pig, it bred litters of children for the sole purpose of having them (self)slaughtered as opposed to growing up as productive citizens-- said it felt no grief over its son's death in a "martyrdom" operation and said it would gladly sacrifice its other sons:
Interviewer: You have 10 sons.
Farhat: Yes, Allah be praised.
Interviewer: If another is killed ...
Farhat: There are many young men. ...
Interviewer: Will your heart be filled with unbearable sorrow?
Farhat: No, no. Allah be praised, I am preparing myself. I will sacrifice them all. If my duty requires me to sacrifice them all, I will not refuse – even if it costs me a hundred sons.
Parents in even the most warlike societies grieve when they lose a son on a battlefield. In contrast, this sow is eager to let its sons die for "the Cause." Note, however, like the other cowardly scum who call themselves Palestinian "leaders," it is in no big hurry to sacrifice itself.
In retrospect, I let my temper run away with me and I must apologize to the world's entire swine population for comparing Umm Nidal Farhat to a female pig. Sows litter and nurse their piglets with the expectation that they will grow up to be boars and sows, not pork chops. Umm Nidal Farhat, on the other hand, raised children as human bombs.
The Palestine Solidarity Movement and Georgetown University's Students for Justice in Palestine don't have a problem with this picture.
As shown here, This attitude is not considered abnormal or dysfunctional in Palestinian society.

Report: "Palestinian Media Watch": Pressures Exerted on Palestinian Children to seek Shahada - Death for Allah
TV: Child Writes to Mother, "Rejoice over My Death" By Nadav Shragai Ha'aretz January 8, 2003:
"Ask for Death - the life will be given to you." This slogan, which was broadcast on Palestinian television on July 5th of last year, was also the headline chosen by the authors of Palestinian Media Watch as the title of their 40th research report. This report examines the social pressure exerted by the Palestinian Authority [PA] on children to die as "Shahids" [Death for Allah].
...Marcus and his colleagues have concluded that, having been exposed to such messages, young Palestinian children from the ages of six till nine play "death" games and role-play the dead. Children between the ages of 10 to 13 express the will to die, sometimes in televised interviews, and from the age of 14 some even take part in suicide attacks.
The anarchy predicted for Gaza has become a reality. It is now ruled by warlords, armed gangs, an terrorists, with no independent judiciary or anything like the rule of law.
...the killing of Jews is presented as a relgious obligation-- labeling them the enemies of Allah, all to be annhilated.
...This notion of the shahid martyr has become so ingrained in the Palestinian culture that it is a major theme of formal education, family values, religious practices, television broadcasting, posters, pre-suicide eulogies, trading cards, family celebrations, movies, music, games, and summer camp. A study by a Palestinian psychiatrist, Shafik Massalah, found that over half of the Palestinian population ages 5 to 11 dreams of becoming a suicide bomber. The same Maadi said on PA-controlled television, "Shame upon he who does not educate his children in the education of jihad. Blessings upon he who dons a vest of explosives on himself or on his children and goes upon the midst of the Jews." Palestinian society is willing to accept and even commend the most outrageous atrocities. While the French executed alleged serial killer Giles de Rais despite his honorable record of service with Joan of Arc and the Hungarians imprisoned vampire/serial killer Countess Elizabeth Bathory in a tiny room for life even though she was the niece of Poland's King Stephen Bathory. The following behavior is, however, considered acceptable and even praiseworthy by Palestinian society:

Jerusalem----May 2 [2004]....Palestinian terrorists murdered 4 young Jewish children and their pregnant mother this afternoon. The terror attack targeted the family vehicle while it was traveling on the road that leads to the Gaza Strip settlement bloc of Gush Katif.
After spraying the station wagen with bullets, the Palestinian terrorists walked up to the 4 terrified little girls and shot each one of them twice in the head, police said. The 8-month-old pregnant mother was shot in her belly at point blank range as she tried to cover her children
In other words, suicide bombers are not isolated criminals. They are a deliberate product of their surrounding society, having been indoctrinated from birth that murdering infidels will get them a one-on-one meeting with Allah, Thangookari, or whoever Big Daddy That Sits in Sky happens to be on any particular day. This underscores the general observation that the Palestinians have deliberately turned their society into one of rabid dogs with which reason and negotiation are simply not possible, and which must be quarantined at the very least to assure the safety of civilized society.
