The Temple Mount, Truth or Lies? (part 1)Trackback PingsTrackBack URL for this entry: Comments
Good to see that you picked up on what I originally wrote in December about the utter disarray and lack of use of the third holiest site in Islam circa 1877, specifically that "Weeds do not go untrampled in a highly trafficked area, do they? Buildings in use do not go without repair, do they?" here on Smooth Stone. For another photo of the dilapidated mosque of Omar, see it here on Smooth Stone. It's important that the message gets out that the tale of the al Aqsa in terms of importance and holiness should be re-written to represent the truth, not the fiction that the uneducated West has been spoonfed. Here is another reference about this RUSE that was used to rouse violence by Muslims against the Jews: http://www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Contra/h003.html At one time I had a reference that claimed Haj Amin al-Huseini popularised the belief that Al-Aqsa was the mosque that Mohammed arose from. I can't seem to find it now. Anyone else?? Posted by: kuhnkat on January 16, 2006 12:52 AM
Amin Al-Husseini is appointed Head of Supreme Muslim Council (1922-1937) [vi] . He is hugely disappointed by the end of the Ottoman Empire under Ataturk. Husseini becomes fanaticized by the idea that he must restore the lost Islamic Empire. He vows to fight all Muslim seculars. Posted by: george on January 16, 2006 05:50 AM Post a comment |
