Cartoon Rage vs. Freedom of Speech
FrontPageMag has published all the cartoons and Robert Spencer's remarks,
Even Bill Clinton has gotten into the act, decrying “these totally outrageous cartoons against Islam” and huffing self-righteously: “So now what are we going to do? ... Replace the anti-Semitic prejudice with anti-Islamic prejudice?” Of course not, but his question is beside the point. The cartoons are not a manifestation of anti-Islamic prejudice: criticism of Muhammad or even of Islam is not equivalent to anti-Semitism. Islam is not a race; the problems with it are not the product of fear mongering and fiction, but of ideology and facts -- facts that have been stressed repeatedly by Muslims around the world, when they commit violence in the name of Islam and justify that violence by its teachings

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=DG3VUQQGIK5QDQFIQMGCFFOAVCBQUIV0?xml=/news/2006/02/02/wcart02.xml says, "Mohammed Bechari, the president of the National Federation of the Muslims of France, said his group would start legal proceedings against France Soir because the pictures were "hurting the feelings of 1.2 billion Muslims".
Good. Does that mean Jews can sue the Islamofascists for "hurt feelings" over cartoons like "Crucified Palestine," which combines long hooked noses and the "Christ Killer" blood libel into one picture?

How dumb are you Bill?
cartoons about jewish people who have hooked noses is equal to depiciting muhammad, their leader and prophet and most important religious figure?
It would equal cartoons about muslims themselves, or about bin laden & co. or about suicide bombers but not a religious figure!! Many cartoons were published about muslims as people or bin laden and no muslim ever protested!!
maybe your too stupid or simply uneducated, but just like you are forbidden the right to eat pork or anything thats not kosher, well they are forbidden to even draw a picture of muhammad. So have some fuckin repsect!! You fuckin whine about hooked noses!!! How would you feel if someone made a degarding caricature about Moses?
It's entirely different! So get over yourself and stop trying to compare yourself and your non-exisiting anti-semetic issues to every single event in the world!!

Catherine, a so-called "artist" put a crucifix with Jesus on it in a bottle of urine and displayed it as "art." While many people said it was offensive, no one threatened to cut the artists' head off. The off-color "South Park" cartoon portrays Jesus while making fun of Jews, Canadians, and everyone else. (There is also a perambulating bowel movement named Mr. Hankey.) You should see what director Mel Brooks does with Jews, and Jews laugh at it.
I am not saying that anyone should make fun of Mohammed but people who confiscate and shred Bibles (Saudi Arabia), blow up statues of Buddha (Taliban) and call people of other religions infidels and kafirs do not have the right to complain if someone does belittle their religion. If they want respect, they must give respect.
But just to be nice, I've made some politically-correct cartoons about Islamofascists who are most emphatically not Mohammed.
