Will Obama Use His UN Veto?
Steven J. Rosen:
… The 6 million Jews of Israel, who have only one vote in the UN, face a billion and half Moslems, who have 50 votes. It is the American veto in the UN Security Council that provides a potential line of defense for them. …

When someone asks a question in regards to Obama’s support for Israel, I wonder why anyone would think there is any possibility he would back Israel. If Obama does anything in way that would ever seem favorable, or even impartial to Israel, there is an ulterior motive. His sympathies lie with Islam. Obama’s ‘Christianity’ is purely political in nature; if he were a politician in an Islamic country, he either would have never bothered with a superficial pretense of faith; or he would profess openly to be a Muslim. I suspect the latter.
Israel should repudiate its recognition of the United Nations’ legitimacy and withdraw from that organization. So should the U.S. and every other civilized country.

Ideally, that should happen. Most of these third world countries simply don’t deserve to have a voice.
I realize it would take some chutzpah, but why can’t Israel petition to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty as a Nuclear Weapon State like Russia, China, the UK, France, and the US? After all, it was mainly Jews who invented the bomb. And then Israel could join the UN Security Council as a permanent member with a veto.
Ok, so it’s kind of pie-in-the-sky. But still.
