Forget About Rick Perry

Laura: It looks as though we have another Chris Christie on our hands in Texas governor Rick Perry who has announced he is running for president. Like Christie, Perry speaks of fiscal conservatism but is clueless about the stealth jihad and has pandered to the agenda of islamic leaders and groups in Texas who’s aim is to infiltrate the educational system to propagandize youngsters with lies about islam’s contributions and sugarcoating its violent history and implementing sharia. It’s hard to believe that with all of the information out there in which even ordinary American citizens have access to, that so many politicians in both parties are unaware of the agenda and radical views of the islamic organizations and individuals they cultivate. It seems they are willing to sell out the future of our country to gain power for themselves, and unfortunately these stealth jihad groups are wielding an increasing amount of power and influence in our political system. Even Herman Cain backtracked on his earlier statements about appointing muslims to his cabinet. Is it possible to have politicians who will stand on principle and speak honestly about jihad and sharia?

Perry’s Problematic Pals

American Thinker

By Pamela Geller

Texas Governor Rick Perry announced Saturday that he is going to seek the Republican nomination for President, and in his speech declaring his candidacy, he sounded great: “we reject this President’s unbridled fixation on taking more money out of the wallets and pocketbooks of American families and employers and giving it to a central government,” Perry said. “‘Spreading the wealth’ punishes success while setting America on course to greater dependency on government. Washington’s insatiable desire to spend our children’s inheritance on failed ‘stimulus’ plans and other misguided economic theories have given us record debt and left us with far too many unemployed.”

Perry promises to fix all that: “We’ll create jobs. We’ll get America working again. We’ll create jobs and we’ll build wealth, we’ll truly educate and innovate in science, and in technology, engineering and math. We’ll create the jobs and the progress needed to get America working again.”

Sounds good. But Perry has been sucked into the propaganda vortex, and is now wielding his enormous power to influence changes in the schoolrooms and in the curricula to reflect a sharia compliant version of Islam. He is a friend of the Aga Khan, the multimillionaire head of the Ismailis, a Shi’ite sect of Islam that today proclaims its nonviolence but in ages past was the sect that gave rise to the Assassins. Perry has concluded at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and the Ismailis, including a comprehensive program to feed children in Texas public schools and taqiyya nonsense about how Islam is a religion of peace. Another agreement stipulates that Texas officials will work with the Ismailis in the “fields of education, health sciences, natural disaster preparedness and recovery, culture and the environment.” Perry let on that this was all about whitewashing Islam’s bloody historical and modern-day record: “traditional Western education speaks little of the influence of Muslim scientists, scholars, throughout history, and for that matter the cultural treasures that stand today in testament to their wisdom.”  continue

Perry looks GOOD on the economy. I wouldn’t dismiss him out of hand. Also, he doesn’t seem fat.

WOW!! Given that America’s focus is on its economic woes, I wonder whether the media will even bother to vet Rick Perry on these facts that reveal his soft underbelly that radical Islam exploits? I wonder whether the American people will even care. Afterall, Obama has been exposed 6 ways to Sunday as being a sympathizer for radical Islamists, so long as they publically cloak themselves in the virtually transparent garb of moderation. The public does not seem to care about that either.

The race for the presidency next November however, will not be won based on the stand Obama and the Republican candidates take vis a vis Israel and radical Islam, save as it may relate to the most virulent of the Mid Eastern Jihadists and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The big and seemingly only issue for Americans is the economy and the collateral issues that relate to it such as unemployment, government spending, the debt and debt ceiling.

That big issue in the minds of Americans is being shaped and fortified by the focus of the American MSM.

Still, if Geller can reach beyond the readership of American Thinker which is pretty much singing the same tune as her and induce the media to pay some attention to these issues regarding Obama and Perry, there is a small chance that it could resonate with Republicans and the public and they would then have two good reasons to reject Obama for a 2nd term and to reject Perry as the Republican nominee for President.

So what will Pamela Geller do to reach a much broader audience to receive the disturbing revelations regarding Perry, which again raises the same questions regarding Obama that she imparts in her article?

    Bill,

I’m about ready to vote for any Republican who doesn’t have rabies.

  5. Laura says:

    @ D C Burns:
In response to that column, the ismailis may not be violent but so what. CAIR isn’t violent either. Non-violent jihad is a tactic used by muslim brotherhood front groups to infiltrate the west. It’s actually a much more effective strategy obviously. It has even many conservatives fooled. People assume non-violent equals moderate.

Conservatives rightly condemned Obama for his radical ties yet are willing to give a free pass for Republicans like Perry and Christie for theirs. It’s despicable and hypocritical. Too much is at stake. But even conservatives dismiss this issue and those who warn about jihad and sharia as if they are lunatics. I tell people to look to Europe to see the inroads islam has made. Here is another take on the Rick Perry issue by Daniel Greenfield. http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2011/08/rick-perry-and-islam.html

Wow! What spectacular, hysterical and dramatic innuendo from Pam Geller – which amounts to a virtual and misleading character assassination. Didn’t Menachim Begin bomb the King David Hotel after knowing there were innocent civilians therein?

Isn’t the issue what Rick Perry’s believes about Israel and whether he supports Israel or not?

Here are more balanced references to Rick Perry’s support for Israel than Pam Geller’s transparent and scurrilous attempt at character assassination:

“On June 28, 2011, Perry wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder regarding “Violations of U.S. Law by Organizers of Gaza Flotilla.” The letter is on official state letterhead, and Perry signed it as governor, not as a private citizen. Now you might well express surprise that such a communication even exists; after all, what does the Gaza flotilla have to do with the governance of Texas? Perry does not exactly answer that question except by noting that he is an “American citizen and governor of one of its largest states.” His letter claims that the flotilla would “interfere with Israel’s maritime blockade of the Gaza Strip,” and it calls on Holder to prevent “these illegal actions” and “prosecute anyone who may elect to engage in them.”Citing “additional information provided . by Shurat HaDin,” the letter asserts that “a coalition of violent anti-Israeli organizations” is behind the flotilla.”
    Unquote.

  8. Laura says:

So the truth amounts to character assassination? That’s what Obama apologists said when his radical ties were brought up. Thank G-d we have people like Pam Geller and Daniel Greenfield to bring forth the truth about Republican traitors who serve the stealth jihad. Conservatives who cavort with jihadists are just as repugnant as liberals who do. Conservatives who defend Christie and Perry are just as repugnant as liberals who defend Obama.

  9. Laura says:

Wow! What spectacular, hysterical and dramatic innuendo from Pam Geller – which amounts to a virtual and misleading character assassination.

So you are now a defender of jihadists. Like I said, conservatives who co-opt muslim brotherhood front groups are as bad as liberals who do. Unlike some other conservatives, I REFUSE to give a free pass to Republicans who enable jihadists. Country comes ahead of party. Too much is at stake. Anyone who panders to jihadists is endangering this country and should not be in office, I don’t care what party they are in. You disgust me, American Eagle. In fact I’m becoming increasingly disgusted with the commenteres of Israpundit. I don’t expect to come here to find people defending jihadists.

  10. Laura says:

Yes Perry is pro-Israel and Pam Geller did not claim otherwise. But as Daniel Greenfield writes:

As some have pointed out, Perry is pro-Israel. So was Bush. It didn’t stop him from toadying to Saudi Arabia and Abbas, or from pressuring Israel to make concessions to terrorists during his second term. It’s possible to be pro-Israel and pro-Islam. And when the scales are weighed, then Islam comes first. If you doubt that, go look at what happened when Bush was pressured by the Saudis.

HAMAS’ CAIR Netwk In Love With Rick Perry (& It’s Mutual)

    By Debbie Schlussel

We’ve already had one Islamo-pandering Texas Republican Governor as President. We don’t need another, in Texas Governor Rick Perry. The first version of him, Gov. George W. Bush, beat Al Gore in getting the Islamic endorsement, then squandered the next eight years in the White House giving Muslims special treatment and increasing their immigration numbers to America.

Deja Vu: It’s George Dhimmiya Bush All Over Again . . . .

    Rick Perry
And so it’s in that vein that I can’t understand the fascination by some normally good people with Rick Perry. My friend, Michael Reagan–who normally gets it on the Islamic threat–endorsed Perry for President. And, when he announces his candidacy for the White House, thousands of Christians who get the Islamic threat to America will support his bid. That’s despite the fact that Perry is close with open Islamic terrorism supporter, Palestinian extremist Farouk Shami, who bragged that his father killed many innocent Jews in Israel. And it’s despite the fact that the HAMAS financier and unindicated HAMAS co-conspirator in Islamic terrorism, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Action Network is having allahgasms over Perry. If they support him, it’s a good reason to oppose this Republi-dhimmi.

  12. yamit82 says:

Perry might unite Jews both left and right for the first time in ages/ of course our opposition to the new darling idol of the mindless redneck conservative right might bring on a Jewish backlash, lets see their true unmasked faces then :) .

laura, like, you are so right, Perry is not what we need, a musloid lover and stealth jihadist. American Jews voted in Obama, they contribute half the funds to the Democrat party. They have abandoned God, and worship idols. What are you doing to get them out of the US of A and to Israel where they belong? WE can charge an exit tax on their assets to benefit our economy. Why are you in the US of A?

So many more Christians voted for obama than Jews, I think he won with a sizable majority. I hear a majority of Buddhist and Hindus also voted for Obama. He did lose the white male Christian vote but only the male bigots didn’t provide a majority against Obama. I read the the Muslims gave more money to the Republicans than anyone else.

No, the King David Hotel was British Military Headquarters. And the British ignored warnings that the hotel was about to be bombed. Colonial office files released last May prove they were warned and ignored the warnings.

Rick Perry is no conservative – in 1988 he ran Al Gore’s Texas Presidential Campaign. He is a slick (used car salesman type)

I imagine he has many skeletons in his closet…

    Romney!

  20. Perry just denounced “global warming” as a scam. He will have my vote next November. He will have my vote over Ron Paul 1488 (the Stormfront candidate) in the primary but then again, so would any stray pet from the local animal shelter.

yamit82, the musloids didn’t give money to Republicans, like Jews, the musloids voted for the musloid stealth jihadist, Obama. both are engaged in undermining Christianity, and I want the musloids out of the US of A too, no stealth jihad. buddhists and hindus are not engaged in keeping Evangelicals out of power, like Jews and musloids are. 70% of Democrat funds come from jews and the musloids are fast catching up with them, obama received funds from musloids,

In fact Menachim Begin gave three warnings about the imminent bombing of the King David Hotel one to the Receptionist at the Hotel, the French Embassy opposite and to the Palestine Post (forerunner of the Jerusalem Post). The French Embassy took heed and opened all their windows to avoid the effects of a blast. It is thought the British were too arrogant to believe the warning and chose to ignore it. Whoever made that decision was the real murderer, not Begin.

I made a “principled stand” in 1992, voting for Perot because Clinton and Bush were both jerks. That helped give the election to Clinton. I don’t plan to repeat the mistake: I plan to vote Republican, regardless of who gets nominated.

How Rick Perry helped stop the Gaza ‘freedom flotillas’

    ADAM KREDO

Believe it or not, Texas Gov. Rick Perry had a hand in preventing those pesky Gaza-bound “Freedom Flotillas” from ever reaching Israeli waters.

Perry, a devout Christian who loves the Jewish state, has taken many trips to Israel — more than any other Republican candidate, in fact. While on one of those tours, Perry met Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, co-founder of Shurat HaDin, an Israeli law center.

“I once spoke at a mission that Perry took part in, in Israel,” Darshan-Leitner recently told Commentary’s Alana Goodman. “And he approached me and said, ‘I love what you do. It’s amazing what you do. If you ever need help combating Israel’s enemies, I’m here to assist.’ ”

Perry made good on that promise in July, when a cohort of liberal activists boarded a Gaza-bound aid boat with the goal of breaching Israel’s maritime blockade of the Gaza strip.

Several of the activists aboard the flotilla happened to be Americans, and upon realizing this, Shurat HaDin’s crack lawyers took action, according to Goodman. They charged that the U.S. citizens were in violation of the Neutrality Act, a law that prohibits Americans from participating in hostile acts against allied countries.

“So we approached the Attorney General of the United States to fix it,” Darshan-Leitner told Goodman. “And we also got Gov. Rick Perry to write a letter to [Attorney General] Eric Holder.”

Ultimately, nine of the 10 boats that participated in the Israel-bashing exercise never made it to the Jewish state, thanks in part to Gov. Rick Perry.
