    Herman Cain’s impressive resume

Herman Cain is running for president….

He’s not a career politician (in fact he has never held political office). He’s known as a pizza guy, but there’s a lot more to him. He’s also a computer guy, a banker guy, and a rocket scientist guy.

    Here’s his bio:

      * Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
      * Master’s degree in Computer Science.
      * Mathematician for the Navy, where he worked on missile ballistics (making him a rocket scientist).
      * Computer systems analyst for Coca-Cola.
      * VP of Corporate Data Systems and Services for Pillsbury (this is the top of the ladder in the computer world, being in charge of information systems for a major corporation).

All achieved before reaching the age of 35. Since he reached the top of the information systems world, he changed careers!

      * Business Manager. Took charge of Pillsbury’s 400 Burger King
restaurants in the Philadelphia area, which were the company’s poorest performers in the country. Spent the first nine months learning the business from the ground up, cooking hamburger and yes, cleaning toilets. After three years he had turned them into the company’s best performers.
      * Godfather’s Pizza CEO. Was asked by Pillsbury to take charge of their Godfather’s Pizza chain (which was on the verge of bankruptcy). He made it profitable in 14 months.
      * In 1988 he led a buyout of the Godfather’s Pizza chain from
Pillsbury. He was now the owner of a restaurant chain. Again he reached the top of the ladder of another industry.
      * He was also chairman of the National Restaurant Association during this time. This is a group that interacts with government on behalf of the restaurant industry, and it gave him political experience from the non-politician side.

Having reached the top of a second industry, he changed careers again!

      * Adviser to the Federal Reserve System. Herman Cain went to work for the Federal Reserve Banking System advising them on how monetary policy changes would affect American businesses.
      * Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. He worked his way up to the chairmanship of a regional Federal Reserve bank. This is only one step below the chairmanship of the entire Federal Reserve System (the top banking position in the country). This position allowed him to see how monetary policy is made from the inside, and understand the political forces that impact the monetary system.

After reaching the top of the banking industry, he changed careers for a fourth time!

      * Writer and public speaker. He then started to write and speak on leadership. His books include Speak as a Leader, CEO of Self, Leadership is Common Sense, and They Think You’re Stupid.
      * Radio Host. Around 2007—after a remarkable 40 year career—he
started hosting a radio show on WSB in Atlanta (the largest talk radio station in the country).

He did all this starting from rock bottom (his father was a chauffeur and his mother was a maid). When you add up his accomplishments in his life—including reaching the top of three unrelated industries: information systems, business management, and banking—

STACK THAT UP AGAINST THE ‘COMMUNITY ORGANIZER’….Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century.

40 Comments to Herman Cain’s impressive resume

    1. Steve Smyser says:

We need more “self-made” men and women, such as he, managing our governments – local, state and national. Mr. Cain I would vote for, and I hope I get the chance.

    2. Sol says:

Strikes me as missing a few cards in the deck. Besides, is there anyone here who thinks the guy could make a respectable showing against Obama?

    3. ArnoldHarris says:

      Sol,

I think Herman Cain could make a hell of a lot more than a respectable showing against Barack Hussein Obama Jr. I’ve written elsewhere here that I think Mitt Romney will be the Republic Party candidate for US president next year.

But Herman Cain is coming up fast. And I think he would be my first choice, if we can get him. He didn’t blitzkrieg Romney, Perry and the rest of the bunch in Florida a couple of weeks ago for no good reason. And the people who gave him that blitzkrieg were all party delegates in one of the most important electoral college states in the USA.

“Missing a few cards in the deck”? I don’t think so. A self-made businessman with his accomplishments and academic credentials are more significant than those of almost any other candidate.

Above all, he is a man who says exactly what he thinks and does exactly what he says. That, in my opinion, puts him in the Harry S Truman league of great leaders.

Why Truman in particular? Because he had the toughness of mind and spirit to stand up to Stalin and Molotov at Potsdam; the ruthlessness to drop the first two atomic bombs on Japanese cities, thus ending the WWII inside one week; the independence of mind and grandness of spirit to recognize the State of Israel against the unanimous opposition of the US State Department and the US defense establishment; the forcefulness to simultaneously overcome Thomas Dewey’s Republicans, Henry Wallace’s commie stooges, and Strom Thurmond’s Dixiecrats; the foresight to rebuild western Europe with American help through the Marshall Plan and Point Four aid; the courage to fire the American Caesar, 5-star General Douglas MacArthur.

Would I welcome another US president of that timber? You can bet your ass that I would. And for that, I think Herman Cain has got just the right pizza ingredients.

      Arnold Harris
      Mount Horeb WI

    4. Pinchas says:

I would vote for Cain’s dog over Obama!

    5. I’ll vote for him.

    6. yamit82 says:

Having reached the top of a second industry, he changed careers again!

      * Adviser to the Federal Reserve System. Herman Cain went to work for the Federal Reserve Banking System advising them on how monetary policy changes would affect American businesses.

Cain has the most impressive CV of any cadidate. That said, he is one of the enemy and I wouldn’t trust him with a ten ft pole.

HERMAN CAIN’S SERVICE AS A DIRECTOR OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF KANSAS CITY

Notice he never speaks openly of his stint and connection to the Fed. He never criticizes the Fed’s role in the American economic debacle we are now facing. He never criticizes corporate greed or the role of corporate America in the current economic depression. Yes it’s a depression and it was created by the Banksters and Wall st crooks in collusion with government. The bad guys got bailed out with American tax payers money, gave themselves obscene bonuses stayed in their jobs and have not paid any penalties no less jail time for their malfeasance. The sucker tax payer is asked to pay for the crimes and stupidity of the too big to fails and the Fed.

In summation he is one of the gang who is passing himself off as a humble concerned citizen who just wants to serve… My question is whom he wishes to serve the American people or the Banksters and greedy to big to fail American corporations.

Certainly the defense budget, the largest entry in the American expenditures : 1.5 trillion a year should be a concern of all Americans. America spends more on military spending than all the nations in the world combined and it seems to me that the American people are not getting a reasonable bang (no pun intended) for the buck, yet it is a taboo item on the Republican agenda. Cain is silent on this and has left it up to the generals to decide.

I don’t believe he is as folksy as he seems in public. He is selling an image and hiding on purpose to deceive what he believes will be strong negativews b many if not most of the American electorate.

    7. yamit82 says:

My comment as usual disappeared again :(

    8. yamit82 says:

Above all, he is a man who says exactly what he thinks and does exactly what he says.

      How do you know?

    9. goldi steiner says:

Cain is too good to be true. I wonder what underhanded tricks the Democrats will exercise to under cut him. I pray for his successful candidacy!

    10. William says:

Yeah… ME! I’d be willing to bet millions of others too. have a nice day.

    11. bahmi says:

I am very leery of this man. His populist approach seems sooooooooo sensible. He seems to be saying all the right things. And that, friends, is what makes me extremely nervous about this man. All this gibberish about qualifications is pure bunk. Do we need a president who can do differential equations, conjugate Latin verbs, fix an automatic transmission, or do we need somebody who has people skills and a deep love for his country unlike the commie schlub in the White House now? Obama was packaged so nicely, why, he made people cry as he was el perfecto. That oaf never once fooled me. The glib slime emanating from his lips was so obviously laced with lies that any objective person who was willing to exercise common sense could fathom this right off the bat. As always, the kingmakers will decide who will be the candidate to face Obama. Common men have been heavily damaged by this meatball from the heartland, we cannot afford to be wrong about any candidate facing Obama. We have to be honest with ourselves, too. Do we differentiate between the merits of Zionism and the demerits of casting votes for Obama knowing full well that we own this man Obama? Are we objective enough to do what is right for the world or are we merely one trick ponies that become suddenly myopic when we look at ourselves?

    12. notbuyingit says:

I would NOT vote for this man,he was a former chairman of Kansas City Federal Reserve, the same crooked cronies that destroyed our economy. He will be everyone’s puppet like Obama is and Bush was. You don’t think he isn’t receiving contributions from the huge corporations that fund the Federal Reserve??!!

    13. viiit says:

I think that he would smash Obama.
Cain is substantially more intelligent than the Hussein.

    14. HCQ says:

Cain supported TARP. He favored privatization of profits and socialization of risk. Now he’s accusing those opposed to the banker monopoly engendered by the central bank i.e. The Federal Reserve as being “anti-american” and “anti-capitalist”. He’s a fascist.

    15. Clinton says:

I would vote 4 Cain but I dont think He will get the Nomination, Mitt Romney will get nomination period, and I may be wrong.

    16. Nigel Shaw says:

Remember what he did to Abel.

    17. politically informed says:

Those of you who have written against Herman Cain are obviously liberals who want to discredit him. You either haven’t heard everything he has been saying or you have a deaf ear to his speeches. Of all the candidates he is the most sensible and the only one I would trust, ESPECIALLY SINCE HE IS NOT A POLITICIAN. I would vote for him hands down over most of the candidates out there especially Mitt Romney who has flip flopped too many times for me.

    18. Clinton says:

politically informed I am not a liberal, I made it clear I will vote 4 Cain if he gets nominated, the problem is he wont get nominated and politically informed I ask u if Mitt Romney gets nominated as I believe he will, will u vote 4 Romney or not vote at all or a third party candidate, me I will vote 4 any republican over obama, any republican is better than obama

    19. Very impressed, having followed posts from various sources the past few weeks. Need to know his position on Israel, however, before deciding. He’s certainly the closest thing to a Biblical-constitutionalist with his or her hat in the ring.

    20. Clinton says:

And as 4 Romney being Mormon I have no problem with that

    21. AmericanEagle says:

      Sol writes:
Strikes me as missing a few cards in the deck. Besides, is there anyone here who thinks the guy could make a respectable showing against Obama?

Sol, which planet do you live on? More importantly, are you able to comprehend English? What cards exactly do you find missing, especially in comparison with the most unqualified, uninformed, unpatriotic, inexperienced, incompetent and irresponsible president in US history, Barack Hussain “Clueless” Obama, that 78% of American Jews voted for in 2008? The disastrous results that followed were predictable.

Thankfully that absurd approval rate is now down to 45%. Not a single one I ask says they would hire Obama to run their own businesses yet they voted to hire him to run the biggest organization in the world. What a bunch of delusional idiots for helping foist this presidential horror on the US, Israel and the world.

      Arnold Harris wrote:
Above all, he is a man who says exactly what he thinks and does exactly what he says.

      Yamit replies:
      How do you know?

By comparing what he says with what he has actually done. How do you know he doesn’t?

Cain has the most impressive CV of any cadidate. That said, he is one of the enemy and I wouldn’t trust him with a ten ft pole.

There you have it, from the Hamas representative on this forum.

    22. Laura says:

Very impressive. I would vote for Cain in a heartbeat.

    23. Marie Zere says:

I would relish the moment that Cain and Obama go head to head. I think Cain will annihilate him. Obama has “0″ business experience and when he came into office he had “0″ foreign policy experience. Herman Cain has common sense, is a patriot, a capitalist, and a winner. He has my vote and the vote of all my friends and business associates.

    24. AmericanEagle says:

      Bahmi writes:
I am very leery of this man. His populist approach seems sooooooooo sensible. He seems to be saying all the right things. And that, friends, is what makes me extremely nervous about this man.

Oy, veh! Bahmi, Let me ask you what I asked Sol in No. 17 above, “What planet do you live on?” You are here seen trying to tear down a REAL black American who grew up in the Jim Crow south to lower middle income parents. Yet, he is not bitter and has ALREADY achieved more than most white Americans ever could and beaten Stage 4 colon and liver cancer on top of everything else. What more can the mind-numbed liberal morons in the Democrat Party do to him?

All this gibberish about qualifications is pure bunk. Do we need a president who can do differential equations, conjugate Latin verbs, fix an automatic transmission, or do we need somebody who has people skills and a deep love for his country unlike the commie schlub in the White House now?

We need a president who can THINK straight which is more than I can say for you.

      Notbuyingit writes:
I would NOT vote for this man,he was a former chairman of Kansas City Federal Reserve, the same crooked cronies that destroyed our economy.

It is Obama’s policies, threats to raise taxes and impose ever more government regulations that are destroying the economy, not anything the Fed has done. They are just trying to keep the economy from going into a complete tailspin. They will tighten up the money supply as soon as we boot Obama out of there and hopefully get a Republican Senate as well, without which it will be much herder to turn this ship around.

      Richard Tennesen writes:
Very impressed, having followed posts from various sources the past few weeks. Need to know his position on Israel, however, before deciding.

How come no one asked about Obama’s position on Israel and yet 78% of American Jews voted for him AFTER knowing all the influences that communists, Islamic and domestic terrorists, Marxists, black liberation theologists, anti-Americans and anti-Semites he had been birds of a feather with since his youth had had on him?

      Politically Informed writes:
Those of you who have written against Herman Cain are obviously liberals who want to discredit him. You either haven’t heard everything he has been saying or you have a deaf ear to his speeches.

Finally, someone who can think straight. Politically Informed is exactly right. These liberal morons don’t seem satisfied with helping destroy the US economy, but also put Israel in greater jeopardy than it has ever been by electing the anti-American and anti-Semitic Obama.

For all those liberal American Jews who choose to carry the burden of guilt over slavery most of you had nothing to do with, I hope you have assuaged your guilt once and for all by helping elect Obama – ALBEIT AT THE TREMENDOUS COST YOU IMPOSED ON EVERYONE ELSE. Herman Cain does not need your guilt-ridden sympathy. This guy is what America is all about – an often-flawed country that was designed by its founders to fix itself every few years as necessary and has done that time and time again while also becoming the final protector and defender of liberty for other countries that want to be free.

    25. Ted Belman says:

Cain is famous for say “Mess with Israel, mess with us.”

    26. yamit82 says:

Cain has the most impressive CV of any cadidate. That said, he is one of the enemy and I wouldn’t trust him with a ten ft pole.

There you have it, from the Hamas representative on this forum.

If you can call me Hamas representative then I can call you a vile fascist pig. The difference I have killed more Hamas than you have boilerplate right wing talking points. FYI. It was the fed’s policies that created the dot com bubble, savings and loan bubble, contributed mightily to the real estate bubble by keeping interest rates close to zero, forcing potential savers to risk money in the markets.

    27. Sol says:

      1. I will vote for the Republican nominee. 2. I agree with Yamit re Cain’s sincerity. A woman who used to work for him in an executive capacity said Cain was a big believer in Affirmative Action and was apolitical. So, now, he’s spoting all these views many of you like to hear. Aren’t you the slightest bit skeptical that it’s all just rhetoric to capture the base? The other thing is – independents are not going to vote for a guy who says: “If you’re not rich, you’re a loser.” Romney is the likely nominee and I think the one who has the best chance to beat Obama. A housewife in Missouri whose husband works hard to put food on the table will not for Cain.

    28. Vince says:

A real Achiever FOR A CHANGE! I’d love to see him as the U.S. President.

    29. AnObserver says:

Supposedly in the times just before the coming of Moshiach, the world will be topsy-turvy ala Orwell’s 1984 where bad is considered good and vice versa. Obama’s big slogan was “Yes we can!” indicating that he is able. Cain is obviously his opposite, and in our backwards world, this Cain is the good guy.

    30. ArnoldHarris says:

Herman Cain right now is the Republican candidate with the most upward momentum. It’s increasingly obvious as we move into mid-November that Cain’s support base is continuing to grow, while Mitt Romney’s curve has flattened to about the same 20 per cent of Republicans who say they are still undecided.

Perry dropped dramatically from his peak of support a few weeks ago. I see little likelihood of him overtaking either Romney of Cain. He hasn’t recovered from his disastrous fumbling live-on-TV debate performance, and the news folks are beginning to treat him as yesterday’s favorite who today is just the latest fallen sparrow.

Ron Paul never really has been a top-rank contender for the presidency. He does indeed attract many of the “values” voters. But they are just a not-too-thick slice of the political pie; and in any case, Paul, now in his late 70s, is increasingly seen as a geriatric. Everybody talks about respecting the aged in America; but in fact, that’s a fig-leaf. Mostly they are as ignored as are the infantile.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think Romney and Cain will duke it out. Maybe one of them will select the other as vice presidential running mate.

What about the main event, referring to the November 2012 general election? Obama increasingly is being written off even by the usual liberal news media. I think more than a few Democratic Party leaders are wishing Obama would just quit so they could select another candidate who might be more electable. Hilary Clinton, maybe? Just what Big Bill always wanted: A third term in the White House. But I’m not certain the voters would go for that.

The real issue over here is that the society and economy both seem to be coming apart at the seams. The old fixes don’t have must appeal anymore, and in fact, are unrealistic. After all; how do you go about fixing a combined social crash and an old-fashioned long term economic depression?

      Arnold Harris
      Mount Horeb WI

    31. You’re joking right? He would slaughter Obama. It would be a landslide victory.

    32. I think having cancer causes a change in a person’s priorities, makes them think about their legacy, the future of their children, grandchildren and community. He may be keeping his mouth shut on the Fed for good reasons, like not making enemies of the Wall St. class before he gets in office.

    33. Nigel Shaw says:

In this topsy-turvy world Obama says “Yes we can”, and he can’t, and Cain=I can. Can he?
He’s untried in politics, he’s too simplistic in his economic policy, and he’s a showman.
Yet the flip-flop guy who doesn’t want to throw Israel under the bus, grew up learning from his capable political father, lived in France, is a successful business man, and governor, he’s the man for the top job.
      I am mit Romney.

    34. yamit82 says:

What does intelligence have to do with being president?

    35. PatrickHenryJunior says:

This may sound crazy, but mark my words; the Democrats will try to portray Cain as a racist, not just any racist but racist toward blacks! If you are black and you are not a drone and in favor of the big welfare state then you don’t care about minorities. They will bring up one “black leader” after another and they will talk about how Cain is cold hearted and does not care about the plight of poor blacks. They will claim that he was just one of the lucky few that knew how to play the system. The Democrats need minorities to feel like victims and they are here to save them!

    36. gregg says:

Are all you idiots smoking crack? If you had any intelligence at all, you would actually read the blown up statements regarding H Cain’s so called resume. Advisor for this…worked on that. It is vague because it is meant to be. So he is a successful businessman, but comparing him to Obama…he’s a joke. Oh that’s right, Obama is nothing but a community organizer! Take a look at his resume and where he came from. Oh, that’s right, you can’t read. Mr. Cain will never get out of the primary election because he will be exposed for what he is…and what he isn’t.

    37. What I don’t understand is the some of the statements that are being said about Herman Cain…..Really well lets go back in history an look at the last 4 prez. They all belong to secret societies now why is that. Here comes this guy who truly wants to make a difference for our great country of ours. You see there is two sides to this coin one side we keep going down the path of distrust an the other side of the coin is do we try to go a different rout then the one we been so use too. Obama has no clue as to what to do with our country now does he? Yes it’s not all his fault either an we all know this. Time to rid of our dependence on our own Gov’t whom they truly believe they can solve this problem….lmao r u serious!!! Tell you all this the only true way of getting things done is called “” TERM LIMITS “” Our own Prez can only stay in office for only two terms an yet we got old billy goats who been congress man an Senators for ” EVER ” Do you see the big picture here….these congress an senators r more powerful then our own Prez…..Tell you what Put my name on the Ballot an lets see the warm welcome a normal law biding citizen can become the next president of this great country we call the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. let’s PROVE A POINT ELECT A NON POLITICIAN INTO OFFICE.

    38. Vote Loud says:

Mr. Cain will eat Obama’s lunch.

Obama is an empty suit that is afraid to make decisions.

He even wasted time to kill OBL. He had 3 choices: Do nothing and the truth would come out, Bomb OBL with no proof that he was killed, or let the SEALS do the job for him with proof of killing the #1 terrorist that killed the most Americans!

HOW LONG WOULD THAT DECISION TAKE A REASONABLE PERSON?

The Obama gloss is over. Mr. Obama’s resume is that of a Community Organizer like Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson, or a Senator that REPEATEDLY voted “not present”… Why?

At least, Mr. Cain answers every question honestly and directly.

Liberals want more of the same old Washington doublespeak! Or are they Progressives?

The majority of voting Americans want an honest person with a proven track record.

      VOTE LOUD 2012!

    39. DOC says:

The man leads by example. He is inspiring and magnetic. What has Obama accomplished for America?
