Petition to reinstate Lt. Col. Eisner
Reinstate Lt Col Shalom Eisner
Opened on April 20, 2012
TO:
- PM Benjamin Netanyahu
- Defense Minister Ehud Barak
- IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz
We demand that you reinstate Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner immediately to his former position and rank.
Lt Col Eisner should be commended for executing his difficult mission and should not have been dismissed.
AND PLEASE CIRCULATE TO ALL ADDRESSES IN YOUR EMAIL LIST AND PUT IT ON YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND TWITTER ACCOUNT.

A thing of beauty is a joy to behold. IDF Lieutenant-Colonel Shalom Eisner delivered a message to the Danish pro-“Palestinian” “peace activist” that could not possibly be misinterpreted. I only wish I was there to support the good officer and his message by stepping on the self-righteous anarchist’s neck until his face turned blue, and then maybe just a little longer for good measure. But I was here, behaving like a civilized American, a (usually) law-abiding New Yorker and an actor while he was there defending the honor, integrity and safety of the Jewish state. Shame on me perhaps but we each did and do what we have to do given our respective circumstances. So I’ll have to content myself to cheerlead for him from here while he takes the flack from his higher ups kowtowing to anti-Semites, hypocrites, quislings and phonies, but don’t count me among them. “Rav” Eisner, I’m quite pleased.
On a similar topic, I recently found out that a close friend of mine, a rabbi and Tipee, whose children, at least one of them was born in Israel, bypassed citizenship for his child so that the lad would not be subject to draft in the IDF. This rabbi, mind you, is quite “religious” – knows all about the Ten Kabbalistic “sphirot” and the 613 mitzvoth, won’t send a text during the ten days of Passover, etc., etc., etc., a very academically minded fellow who experiences his Judaism, it seems to me, exclusively through his mind, through understanding and through thought. But what about blood? What about a passion that truly transcends? What about life and death? I don’t get it – how can you claim to be “religious” – to love and honor and commit to G-d’s covenant with the Jewish nation and not be willing to have your children serve in its defense? It don’t make no kinda’ sense. Somethin’ just aint right there. Please, someone, or if you’re reading this Rav, can ya’ help a Yid out? Wassup?
Okay, whatever, I aint movin’ there next week either – but I never, ever take my eyes off her, I aint no make-believe holy man and my passport is valid and my credit cards are loaded, and I aint quoting ancient esoteric texts or logical constructs hidden in arcane scriptures either, rather I have a few friend over there – straight-up true-blue Yids, some religious, some not so, but every one of them, honest, true and passionate people, real human beings, life and death, putting it and their children on the line, `cause they really believe, they’re really religious, blood and soil, guns and prayer, the whole real package, not just some empty self-aggrandizing over-intellectualized call-me-when-the-fighting’s over nonsense. Aint got no time for that – rather we got anarchists and “peace freaks” to address – not to mention Hezbollah, Hamas, Ahmadinejad, the EU, Arab League and the UN. We got our work cut out for us, save the books for the library and the polemics for the Board and spare me the bullsh*t. I know better. Mefakedet (commander) Eisner, thanks again, kol ha kavod and way to go! Amen.
Lt.Col.Eisner did what any intelligent person would do, after what this protester did to him.
I think Lt.-Cl. Eisner did what he was supposed to do: how could he treat differently an aggressive antisemite?
It is a bad Jewish feature: to think first of what the “Others” will say. But we shouldn’t give a damn about what antisemites of all types think and say.
reinstate ltcol shalom eisner
We need many more Lt. Col. Eisners, courageous and brave. I pray he will be re-instated to his rightful position immediately. this is so outrageous. it should never have been allowed to get to this point. Ida Wax
I’ve lived in Israel for many years and I’m familiar with the ways of the army. Therefore when I see a road block made by the IDF I know it’s a reason to HALT. I also know that they are there because they are obeying orders. If I make trouble by wanting to pass through the blockade I would only expect the IDF to act and use force if necessary to make sure I don’t get through.I RESPECT our soldiers and I know what I difficult job they have. These activists were there without respect and obviously with the intention of using provocation. How dare they come from other counties as sympathizers and be disrespectful! I feel that Lft Col Eisner is right, we should not let the world see the IDF giving way to a few anarchists? In light of the political scene right now the IDF has to be seen as strong in every way. Lft Col Eisner should be reinstated. If not we’re embarrassing the whole IDF and every Israeli just to support the political sensitivities of the world.
Reinstate now!
Idemand that you reinstate Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner immediately to his former position and rank.
Lt. Col. Eisner should be commended for executing his difficult and quasi impossible mission, thus setting an example to all his soldiers, and should not have been dismissed!
Try to put yourself in his shoes and in all honesty ask yourseleves HOW you would have reacted in such a complex situation where you and your soldiers are verbally and phsycally attacked and YOU as the commander is helpless and with a broken arm and cannot, according to the “rules” of the IDF to responed accordingly to these internal enemies of Israel, as IF we need MORE enemies!
ALL of you three have a more than commendable Army background – HOW would you have reacted??? It seems to me you would have done the same, if not MORE!
It is our obligation to support our troops. Outside aggittors come here to make provocations. They would never dare do such things in Syria, Egypt or Iran …. they come here, in the large part they are treated relatively well …
@ Jeff Ravis:
These punks pretend they are being brave in confronting Israel when in fact they are cowards who know they face no serious consequences by entering Israel and provoking its soldiers. They of course would not dare to even attempt to engage in such activities in the countries you mentioned. These are regimes which don’t hesitate to slaughter their own citizens protesting.
IL FAUT TOUJOURS SOUTENIR SON ARMEE ET NE PAS CEDER ENVRES LES ENEMIS D’ISRAEL

The Israeli government should do what is right and reinstate Lt. Col Eisner.
Colonel Eisner did the right thing , I am sick of those people who are not informed or brained washed with lies , than they blame Israel for everything. We have to stand up with this ignoramas.we dont need them to tell us what is wrong we know it.
Reinstate, promote, and decorate Eisner. And demote Gantz
Eisner did his duty, and Gants stands with the enemies of the state.
@ Tovah:
I agree. Reinstate Lt. Col. Eisner now. He is a hero.
The problem is not that the Israeli elites are embarrassed by Eisner, that is a chronic symptom to be ashamed of the patriots of one’s country. I have seen this trend in many countries.
Israel and the West, particularly the US, has to be hit by an Islam attack and hit hard until the people reject all left wing tendencies and violently attack their media and political scum.
Sad but true.
Yes Bibi is not what he is and according to Daniel Pipes, was ready to surrender the Golan to Syria for a bit of peace!!!
Kudos to this fellow and shame on the rest of the more “progressively” thinking Israeli population; academics, news media, political and legal lackeys. If there were more Jews like this fellow Israel would not be in the sorry state that it is. There certainly are no “Palestinian” People, a “West Bank” and Islam, like Socialism, is not “progressive” or a “Religion of peace”… Congrats and may he be reinstated with full honors. Hell even a promotion!
Best of luck to you Jews over there facing Islamic and Socialist terror and corruption daily……
SRA
Reinstate Shalom Eisner, he did the dirty work for the politicians and for Israel, now you leave him to dry.
The Danish police treat protestors much harsher than did Eisner. (you can watch this on youtube)
What did he do?
@ Steve S.:
I do understand that IDF colonels are held to a higher standard of conduct than the general population.
In my opinion, the IDF should have conducted an inquiry instead of reacting- it was not as if Eisner was firing a machine gun into the crowd. However, if after an investigation, they concluded that Eisner committed a criminal assault or otherwise engaged in conduct prejudicial to discipline and good order, or brought discredit to the IDF, they should apply appropriate punishment.
Lt. Col. Eisner should have shot him on the spot!
Nico Bronkhorst Said:
Why?
@ Sheli Shahal:
I DEMAND THAT YOU REINSTATE LT-COLONEL EISNER IMMIDIATLY TO HIS FORMER POSITION THIS SETTING AN EXAMPLE
TO ALL HIS SOLDIERS. STOP BEING A GALUT JEW. THE ARABS WOULD HAVE KILLED THIS JEW HATER.
DO IT BE A PROUD JEW&AND A PROUD ISRAELI. SHALOM TO THE WORLD.
@ Michael Ejercito:
Michael, might still answer your question , but since my sentiments are the same, I shall try to enlighten you as to “why”….
There comes a time when push comes to shove. We are WAY past that…..
Israel is being attacked and vilified on all fronts. EVERY thing is Israel’s fault etc etc etc (I am sure you know the vitriol spewed by the libtards media, a garden variety of useful idiots , academia, and so on).
This antisemitic Bastard, that had one intention only to come and cause harm, is a representative of all that is evil, all that Israel is up against…
To put it in plain English, he ceased being “Andreas ias” (which is not his real name either), and instead he became a terrorist supporter.
He wanted to be a hero, the COWARD, thinking (correctly, unfortunately) that no harm will come his way….after all he is in Israel the apartheid state and not in Saudi Arabia, the Mecca of liberties (pun intended)…
By shooting him on the spot, as Michael suggested, it would have sent a message:
Don’t mess with us or you are next
It is nauseating to see the contortions that Israel is doing to be liked by foreign countries….
Israel will never be liked, for it is the home of the Jews. And no self respecting antisemite will ever do or say anything positive about the Jewish state.
ISRAEL SHOULD BE FEARED!
end of story.
@ the phoenix:
Sorry. Obviously, my comment was directed at Michael who is asking nico “why”……
the phoenix Said:
The problem is that the Danish dude, as far as I know, was not engaged in the unjustified use of deadly force. Shooting him to death would have been murder.
If IDF troops could murder people with impunity, what else can they do? If they come across a pretty teenage girl, could they rape her whether she likes it or not? If they want to have a day of fun, could they be absent without leave? If they no longer feel like serving, could they desert?
I have no opinion on whether Eisner had sufficient justification. I am no expert on Israeli military law.
But I do know that military law exists to maintain discipline. If soldiers can violate military law with impunity, the IDF will break down.
@ Michael Ejercito:
Michael, we are both debating a VERY hypothetical situation that we both know it would never happen (I do).
The point I was trying to make is that we should stop being nice to our enemies. The rules of engagement are beyond ridiculous . We are what carolyne Glick calls, the shackled warrior. And shooting that scumbag smug would be a fantastic way to get the message across. Soldiers DO shoot enemies, RIGHT?
As far as starting a whole conversation about ‘raping’ and ‘deserting’…. I am just shaking my head in disbelief…
Come on michael! Do you really believe that a soldier of the Idf would be a rapist??????
Do not drink from that koolaid bottle given to you by a liberal enlightened politically correct multi culturalist.
the phoenix Said:
I was unaware that “liberal enlightened politically correct multi culturalist[s]” came up with the idea of military discipline.
@ Michael Ejercito:
michael, for crying out loud, are soldiers supposed to be disciplined now if (gasp…) they kill an enemy in battle?
this IS war, michael. these antisemite anarchists pretending to be ‘sensitive souls’ wishing to help an invented people are the enemy!!! with a national government proud of being jewish (and not wishing to appease a musloid in the w.h. or a collective bunch of europeans too politicaly correct to appear as the antisemites that they are… but make no mistake, michael, they are!) that ‘demonstration’ would have never taken place!
the phoenix Said:
They were not combatants, nor were they in the vicinity of a defended enemy target.
Would it have been right and just for American soldiers to strike antiwar protesters in the U.S., regardless of the circumstances?
@ Michael Ejercito:
michael,
“They were not combatants, nor were they in the vicinity of a defended enemy target.”
now we are getting into semantics and splitting hairs. they were given an order to get the hell out of the checkpoint and he didn’t. to add insult to injury, the bastard has injured an idf officer!!!!
i REALLY don’t see what’s there to argue.
furtheremore as i have commented previously, this, were the military rules of engagement, not what they are, it would not have been an issue. as i have said, once someone is identified as the ‘enemy’ it is time to be ready to ‘neutralize’ him by whatever it takes…
the blond dane should count his lucky stars that he only received the magazine in his face and not the contents.
the phoenix Said:
If that turns out to be true, then Eisner should be reinstated.
as I stated above, the IDF should take investigate and take appropriate action.
Iagree, Reinstate Lt.Col.Eishernow.HeIS HERO.
@ janieta korotkin:
We should wait until the investigation.
At least one of the ISM pro-terrorist thugs brandished a knife. In another country the knife wielder would have been shot dead! And ISM “activists” threw bicycles at the IDF soldiers and hit them with sticks. Lt. Col. Eisner certainly didn’t break his own fingers! Reinstate Lt. Col. Eisner!
