This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. I voted for Obama. McCain was a Washington insider and we don’t need any more of them. I have changed my mind three times, since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. I started thinking “where does all the money come from for President Obama”? I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.
It’s not cheap to say the least.My girls asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe it’s none of my business?After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago ? Why not New York ? He was already living in New York . By “chance” he met Antoin “Tony” Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery several times in the past and in 2011. Rezko, was named
“Entrepreneur of the Decade” by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association”. About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School . Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School ?
Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student loans? His family has no money that’s for sure.
After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I discovered? They represented “Rezar” which is Rezko’s firm.
Rezko was one of Obama’s first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with “seed money” for his U.S. Senate race.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans – Where did he get the money for this property? On the same day Rezko’s wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama’s new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama’s boss. She is now Obama’s chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz , Iran ! Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?
On May 10, 2008, The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was “sacked” after the press found out he was having regular contacts with “Hamas”, which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama’s visit to Iraq , he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will “Take care of things”. What the heck does that mean?
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all those “small” Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East ?
And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, “My Muslim faith”. When questioned, “he made a mistake”. Some mistake huh?

The last I checked, his biggest campaign contributor was Goldman Sachs, inc., former employer of many of those in the Obama Administration in high positions of power, and the company at the center of the 2008 economic collapse.

Where did anyone’s money come from in 1981? Where do people get money now? I haven’t got a clue, but many Americans are living high on the hog, and jet-setting all over the world. Obama’s a rich man, and he was a rich kid. What’s the mystery? Did the poster think he was poor or something? My thanks to her for this post, though, as I have never until now seen Obama’s ’81 itinerary.

I got my BS on the GI Bill, as a Vietnam-era vet. I went to school primarily to help support my family, as the GI Bill contributed more to our funds than the sub-minimal wage I was pulling in the job marketplace. I went through college while caring for two children. In 1981, when Obama and many, many Americans like him were globe-trotting and I just finished my undergrad study, I got my first and only real job, one with benefits. My children? My daughter worked her way to her BA, selling tacos. Welcome to my world: it’s not Obama’s world, nor McCain’s, nor anyone else’s who runs for president. Should this surprise anyone?
I didn’t vote for BHO, because he was a big nothing — a Chicago Machine politician, a very JUNIOR CM politician, with practically no experience in government. Sarah Palin had a mountain of credentials by comparison, and McCain had much more. Who in his right mind would vote for Barry-O, even WITHOUT having heard about all his kooky friends and associates? I imagine the female former Obama campaign worker was a starry-eyed young liberal; though with children having gone through college, she couldn’t have been too young.
I live in a university city, in what I have always thought of as a “hippie time warp”. Maybe that time warp is bigger than I had imagined. Whatever the case may be, I am happy to see this lady casting off her liberal cocoon and entering the ranks of the living.

I don’t think any politian should be able to make any money or receive any gifts, other than their salary, while they are in office. Let them sell their books and receive their gifts after they are out of positions of influence.
The only thing that will keep Obama in office is republicans and conservatives not voting for Romney, just as they didn’t vote for McCain. By not voting they gave us the much greater of two evils, thus it is their fault we are in the place we are in with 3 1/2 years of Obama mess. If they don’t vote again it will be their fault again for an even greater mess of an Obama in his second, “untouchable” term.

Nothing I haven’t read before but it doesn’t seem to be getting through to the American Voting public. That’s not hopeless. Romney needs to pick up Ohio, Virginia and Iowa to win. That requires an overall shift of just over 2%. The race has been more volatile than that. It’s hard right now for Romney to lob a decisive salvo against Obama, because the latter has so many trump cards — not the least of which is the fact that, if electorally needed, Obama will (and seems to have already started to) ignite a major war in the Middle East, use his press allies to spin the information, and very possibly pick up a second Nobel Peace Prize from the Nazis of Norway. McCain got caught flat-footed with the Fannie Mae failure in 2008. Romney needs to plan his punches wisely, then think on his feet.

Couple of things:
FAR from hopeless. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Carter held a commanding lead all summer in 1980, and was neck-and-neck w/ Reagan even in October. The polls now are just about meaningless.
The economy STINKS. Hear about the jobs report for June, anyone? Even the “let’s-re-elect-Obama” media couldn’t hide that. This is what most Americans – especially swing voters – care about.
Romney has barely begun to fight…but he is collecting a LOT of dough. I can also tell you all that there is a LOT of pro-Romney, Tea Party-led grassroots activity going on that doesn’t get national media attention.
Yes, there is the definite possibility of a Mideast war that MIGHT be spun to Obama’s advantage, at least in theory. But that only works out if he is seen to competently lead/control events in a manner perceived by the public to be in U.S. interests. Obama doing that…? Hahahahaha. Dream on.
Second thing:
The question is asked why the major media is not covering all of this obvious garbage on Obama. Now, while it is a nice thing to say that “there are no dumb questions” THIS ONE PUSHES THE ENVELOPE PRETTY HARD.
It is a huge perceptual mistake to look at Obama as an isolated phenomenon. Better to see him as the tip of an iceberg, with a very broad supporting infrastructure. THE MEDIA IS A PART OF THAT INFRASTRUCTURE.
It isn’t even so much that the media is ‘a bunch of lefties’, though there is at least some truth in that.
The real problem is where these media people got their education. The universities that produce the media people really are bastions of hard-left twits. Obama’s views on most policy issues are quite unremarkable in the liberal arts departments of just about any major American or Western university you could name.
The second major pillar of this infrastructure is petrodollars. A lot of media enterprises – e.g., the NYT – are on very shake financial ground. I undserstand that some Lebanese national living in Mexico pulled the NYT’s financial chestnuts out of the fire.
Another example: Remember how “pro-Isreal” FOX used to be? Some say they still are, but that is quite a stretch. You watch them closely, you see they are only marginally less hostile to Israel than CNN and all the rest. Look what they did to Glenn Beck for supporting Israel..they canned him. What was so controversial about that? Most Americans side with Israel against her enemies…so who got mad? More to the point, who bought a big stake in FOX right after the 2006 Lebanon war? It was none other than Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal (sp?…I don’t give a s***). He’s the biggest individual investor in NewsCorp..owns a 7% share that is actually preferred stock that gives him something like 40% reprsentation on their board of directors, the biggest stake outside of the Murdoch family.
And that’s just FOX. How about the BBC? How about the countless other media organizations that carry water for the Arab cause – which is most of them? And how many of you out there write letter after letter to the editor, and even if you get published, it doesn’t seem to change any of their minds? Isn’t it amazing how utterly resistant to any sort of facts and logic any major media is on this one topic? Funny how they can all be SOOO wrong in JUST THE SAME WAY, so consistently, all in lockstep, ON THIS ONE TOPIC.
…and they won’t report on the Moslem connections of the most anti-Israel president in history.

Obama is a symptom. Obama is a result. Obama is the crowning achievement of the Arab lobby. That was why they buzzed New York City with Air Force One and scared the daylights out of everyone right after he took office. That was the Bad Guys giving the rest of us the finger; their way of telling us, “Now we’ve captured your Oval Office, suckers!”
Granted, what I say in the paragraph above is conjecture. But think about it. Air Force One is one of the most tightly controlled assets of the U.S. government. The flight crews have got to have the highest standards of training and discipline…and they do THAT? And this never happned before, did it? Funny, they just happen to do something as outrageously boneheaded as that – BUZZ THE SITE OF THE 9-11 ATTACKS AND CREATE A PANIC – right after Obama takes office. Who ordered them to do that? Interesting ‘sense of humor’, whoever did that, dontcha think?
Oh, and he sticks up for the Ground Zero mosque, of course. I mean, what else does he have to do? Deliver the State of the Union Address wearing a kaffiya?
But, our valiant media just can’t connect the dots. Practically NONE of the hundreds upon hundreds of highly educated, highly paid professionals, they can’t see any of this. But, they can write front-page stories in national newspapers about how Romney bullied some gay kid when he was in high school….
I just don’t know what it will take to wake people up.

Any grievance against Obama pales in comparison to what your stinking fascist Republicans have done to the freedom and democratic constitutional principles of America.
With two presidential signatures- one on New Year’s Day and the other issued in March– President Barack Obama has assumed the right to assert dictatorial powers over almost all aspects of the U.S. economy and to hold American citizens indefinitely without trial!
The Republicans are silent on this and electing them will not be any better for Americans than by keeping Obama. Repeal of the NDAA is even more essential than Obamacare or even removing Obama.

Well, Yamit, before you start calling me all sorts of names, you might have asked me what I really do believe is the root cause of all of the U.S.A.’s problems. I never said it was Obama. In fact, if you read what I wrote above carefully, you might have noticed that I call him a symptom, a result, rather than the core problem.
I never liked Bush much, either.
Indeed, during the ’08 campaign season, I would tell people that where American policy towards Israel is concerned, if they wanted four more years of Bush, they ought to vote for Obama.
I swear I’m not making that up.
By my lights, the last president the U.S. had that could be considered, overall, “pro-Israel”, was…..Nixon. Been downhill ever since, from Ford onwards.
And even then, until Obama came along, America was still Israel’s “best friend” on the world stage. Which is only an illustration of how outragously screwed up the world is today.
Obama, compared with Bush, is only a matter of degree, not kind. But he’s still a good deal worse.
Where “root causes” are concerned, I see Obama as the final sick conclusion of the political cultural trajectory we’ve been on here in the U.S. since the Vietnam era. The way that war was fought and lost, the malevolent political cultural forces that led to that debacle and have been since strengthened by it, that is what I see as the root of our problems today.
I’m not thrilled with Romney. I supported Santorum in the primaries. But whatever faults Romney may have, I don’t believe he hates America. He’ll try to do his best for the interests of the U.S., however timid and shallow he may be. That’s an improvement over Obama, whom I view as a traitor, if not by the letter of the law (and probably there, too, but I don’t have documentary proof), certainly in spirit. Some of my Evangelical friends suspect he’s the “anti-Christ”….If I were not Jewish and thus with no anticipation of such a creature, even if I bought into Christian mythology, if Obama were the “anti-Christ”, all I’d have to say to that is that the HR Dept. in Hell must have real problems, if that mediocrity (except in his ability to lie with a straight face, which is phenomenal) is the best they can do for an “anti-Christ”.
But I have coined my own term for Obama, and that is the “anti-Patriot”. He really is an America-hating SOB. As I’ve posted before, I went to school with a lot of twits like him, I know his sort well, and I can tell you that nothing he’s done suprised me. If and when he doesn’t have to face re-election, he’ll be three times worse.
Romney is no great shakes, but he’s got to be a substantial improvement over that.

Of all the candidates, Santorum was the only one with a national security and foreign affairs experience who could have challenged BHO better on all issues than Romney in the general campaign. I like your analysis. There are many factors that work in Romney’s favor if he doesn’t fail to use them like McCain in 2008. Genuine and reliable economists forecasts that USA, European countries etc. are going to face a more severe economic recession before the end of 2012 than the one in 2008. I wish they were wrong in their predictions. However, it seems so many things are getting out of control and the leaders of the world cannot stop the looming economic and political fiasco. So many Americans have already lost their trust in all branches of government due to corruptions at every level. Romney can use the worsening situations in the country: socially, economically and politically to his advantage if he is aggressive enough against BHO better than McCain. I don’t agree with anyone characterizing BHO to be an “anti-Christ.” Before Glenn Beck left Fox News, he compared the Muslim Mahdi (Islamic savior) with Christian Bible’s predictions of the anti-Christ. The Mahdi (12th imam) completely fulfills the criteria for an anti-Christ.
