US Jewish Peace Group Calling Romney Racist over Palestinian Culture Comment

Judenrat Kapos for Peace attack Romney, advocates anti-Israel divestment

    Article by Lori Lowenthal Marcus

In an entirely predictable effort to use the word “Jewish” to attack those who support the Jewish State, the organization Jewish Voice for Peace invited other haters of Israel to sign a letter to Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, lambasting him for his “racist” and “ignorant” statements about Arab Palestinians.

In one of the more hotly debated statements Romney made on his trip to Israel last month, he attributed the vast disparity in economic health between that of the robust Israeli one and the dismal one of the Palestinian Authority to, in part, a difference in culture.

Our commentary: Everybody knows that a behavioral choice is not a race, and the choice to raise children on a steady diet of hatred, much like the Hitler youth, is going to produce a dirt-ignorant and inferior society that lives in poverty and squalor.

Yup. Arab savagery is a fact of life.

Ignoring it isn’t going to bring peace closer in the Middle East.

    2. Canadian Otter says:

ARAB RACISM – Will this be another wasted opportunity to counterattack by denouncing “Palestinian” racism and incitement?

Despite media exposure of “Palestinian” viciously racist textbooks, television programs, propaganda, speeches and statements by top officials and clerics – Jewish leaders in Israel and abroad continue to ignore them.

They and the Jewish public recoil at every act of anti-Semitism in Europe – but most of them ignore the tidal wave of violent Muslim racism at their doorsteps. And they fail to denounce the continuum between the Third Reich’s Final Solution and Muslim terror and incitement aimed at the destruction of Israel and the Jews.

THERE IS A CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE REGARDING THE NAZI ORIGINS OF THE CURRENT MUSLIM WAR AGAINST ISRAEL.

This Nazi-Arab alliance has been well documented by historians and researchers. However, Jewish advocacy organizations and Jewish leaders seem afraid to mention it.

Some may fear that touching the subject of Arab racism may topple the myth of Land for Peace, in which some are so heavily invested.

Others may be afraid to step on the toes of powerful countries that generously fund the PA and Gaza – cauldrons of anti-Jewish hatred.

Others may fear that speaking out might negatively affect their status in the international community – the same international community that would like Israel gone from the map.

Jews who have derided American presidential candidates for not being specific enough in their support for Israel, fail to demand a clear stance by their own Jewish leadership in Israel and in the diaspora regarding Arab racism and Israel’s rights to the Jewish heartland.

PA-TV, a major source of Nazi-inspired propaganda and indoctrination, rents air frequencies from the State of Israel. What PA-TV broadcasts would not be legal in most Western countries!

Our commentary: Everybody knows that a behavioral choice is not a race, and the choice to raise children on a steady diet of hatred, much like the Hitler youth, is going to produce a dirt-ignorant and inferior society that lives in poverty and squalor.

This is very true, but the cultural Marxists don’t like to admit the truth–in this case–all cultures are not good and equal–and some of them like the Muslim Arabs are profoundly evil!

    4. yamit82 says:

Back in the real world with Romney

      Romney says no to Adelson

Sources say the casino tycoon is pressing Romney to call for Jonathan Pollard’s release. But so far, Romney has rebuffed him. Eli Lake and Dan Ephron report.

Mega-donor Sheldon Adelson has been pressing Republican candidate Mitt Romney to pledge to release Jonathan Pollard, pledge to move the United States embassy to Jerusalem, and swear off the ‘peace process’ as a waste of time. Romney is resisting Adelson on all three counts.

Romney has rejected the request so far, telling Adelson he would have to review the relevant intelligence material accessible to him as president before granting Pollard clemency, said the sources, who are relaying accounts of conversations from both Adelson and Romney. Romney “could not consider the Pollard situation because he doesn’t have access to the classified information,” one source said.

The issue is apparently one of a handful where Romney differs from Adelson on Israel. The billionaire has also asked Romney to state publicly that Israeli-Palestinian peace talks are a waste of time because the Palestinians are unwilling to make peace, according to the sources—and he wants a firmer commitment from Romney to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in what would be a de facto recognition of Israel’s annexation of East Jerusalem. For his part, Romney has not said peace talks are a waste of time and has gone only partway on the embassy question, saying he would undertake the move in consultation with the Israeli government—a campaign promise other presidents have made. (Adelson has pressed Romney to pledge to move the embassy without consulting the Israeli government.)

So much for all the people who hoped to portray Romney as a puppet being operated by Adelson.

    5. Perry B says:

It’s a culture of individualism and entrepreneurship vs. a culture of barbarism and jihad. Both have their respective qualities, I suppose…. and naturally, self-loathing Jews are the first to demand our dhimmitude – all in the name of “peace”, of course.

    6. joe kerr says:

Non-religious Jews… left wing atheists really- like Noam Chomsky- hate Israel as much as they hate themselves. No one really takes these nutjobs seriously- except other nutjobs!

    7. Catarin says:

Obama is not an anti Semite. All the president did was try to get a playing field in an attempt to make peace between Jews and Arabs. He has backed Israel all the way. If you want Obama to kiss your ass,it’s not going to happen.

Isn’t this Romney’s problem? Should he have said Muslims are so busy trying to kill Jews, they don’t have time for business. Plus they destroy their assets when they get mad.

Israelis should get some of their textbooks and send them to Western leaders.

    8. SHmuel HaLevi says:

Leave it to the renegade unJews to prove my point.
Those are the sinking remnants of former Jewish people gone forever from the fold into nothingness. They are not longer Jewish and neither anything else. Undefined nothings with a poisoned soul.

    9. rongrand says:

      Who says???

All the president did was try to get a playing field in an attempt to make peace between Jews and Arab

Bull Shit – He also bows to the Saudi prince.

Catarin you sure are not only clueless your defiantly gullible.

By the way since you seem to think you know so much about this phony president, tell him Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish Nation of Israel and by no means tell him your Jewish.

      If you are Jewish,

      the, SHamuel is correct.

Those are the sinking remnants of former Jewish people gone forever from the fold into nothingness.

    10. Laura says:

Rabbi Joseph Berman of Temple B’Nai Israel in Revere, Massachusetts, is the Boston chair of JVP and sits on its rabbinic council. Rabbi Berman delivered the JVP petition to Romney’s national headquarters in Boston, on Monday, August 6, 2012. The petition “demands” Romney apologize to the “Palestinian people” for his “cultural differences” statement regarding the Arab Palestinian people.

What else can you expect from a pretend “Rabbi” who wears an earring?

If Obama is not anti-Semitic, what was he doing for years in a rabidly anti-Semitic “church”? That’s what I’d like to know. By the way, he and Pastor Jeremiah Wright had a very close relationship. Wright was like a second father to him. Obviously Obama respected him and admired him. Any comments on why he did not repudiate Wright’s ideas from the start?

    14. Batya Casper says:

One of the saddest aspects of the Israel Palestinian conflict, as of the larger Arab Israel conflict, is what it is doing to all of us. However justified we feel in our views, our anger will engender nothing but more anger; our hatred, nothing but irrational behavior. Neither anger nor hatred solve problems. On the contrary, they turn away those who might otherwise listen. The world might well have bought a sack of misinformation. Israel is, indeed, isolated as never before. World opinion today threatens the very existence of the state of Israel. And that is exactly what our Arab neighbors want. Our anger means that those who openly profess their enmity toward us are winning. It plays directly into the hands of the perpetrators of our conflict. We must do what the state of Israel does: we must keep our eyes on the target. Our target? – Education based on historical facts, on what we know is true, education that will lead to understanding, enlightenment, to the recognition and and resolution of differences. Individuals in all countries and political camps are subject to misinformation. Let us counteract that with rational dialogue. Let us appeal, human being to human being beyond borders, for peace. If we don’t – we will surely lose our way.

      Wallace E. Brand writes

Rabbi Berman is not the only Islamist lover. Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller, director of Hillel at UCLA was found guilty of assault and battery of a pro-active Zionist who criticized his view. The was found guilty but only required to take a months course in anger management. A civil action by Rachel Neuwirth worked out somewhat better.
VIOLENCE AND LEFT-WING POLITICS: What’s Going On At UCLA’s Hillel? http://www.think-israel.org/hes.hillel.html

Daniel Greenfield, “Sultan Knish” has detailed the differences in the Arab and the Jewish economy in Israel due to differences in culture in somewhat more detail than Romney. http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2012/07/universal-muslim-economic-failure.html

In his book “Innocents Abroad”, Mark Twain’s travelogue in Europe and the Holy Land, published in 1869, Twain wrote:

It seems to me that all the races and colors and tongues of the earth must be represented among the fourteen thousand souls that dwell in Jerusalem. Rags, wretchedness, poverty and dirt, those signs and symbols that indicate the presence of Moslem rule more surely than the crescent-flag itself, abound. Lepers, cripples, the blind, and the idiotic, assail you on every hand, and they know but one word of but one language apparently–the eternal “bucksheesh.” To see the numbers of maimed, malformed and diseased humanity that throng the holy places and obstruct the gates, one might suppose that the ancient days had come again, and that the angel of the Lord was expected to descend at any moment to stir the waters of Bethesda. Jerusalem is mournful, and dreary, and lifeless. I would not desire to live here.

were that comment made in reference to ANY two rivaling factions, i would agree with you wholeheartedly.
unfortunately, (and what i am saying is not with anger)the muslim side is NOT a side that can be appealed to as you suggest, ‘human being to human being’.

Obama tried and that’s more than I can say about any of you. It took me years to get a handle on this situation. There are some Arab Palestinian families that I don’t want to see hurt and who make good neighbors. It seems, however, impossible to find them in the mass of untruthful deceitful politicized Muslims. Why is Abbas still a negotiator for them when he was involved in the Munich massacre. Or is he the lesser of all evils?

My My now you are a Mystic mind reader.

Did I mention the word Taliban?

Whether Reagan actually kissed these SCUM or not I couldn’t find a photo as proof but I assume according to Custom he might have and could have.

That said his taste in women make these Afganis look good. He married two who would have made Blackwell’s list of Ugly. They did make mine.

Yes, this is more in line with what I meant in saying, “One never knows where some mouths have been.”

Compared to your Tome’s, I was direct and to your point. That you are too obtuse to see the obvious and look for hidden meanings not intended or inferred shows what you are…

    30. dweller says:

      @ yamit82:

“The issue [Adelson’s request for a campaign pledge to release Pollard] is apparently one of a handful where Romney differs from Adelson on Israel.”

      No — not “apparently.”

The issue is POSSIBLY “one of a handful where Romney differs from Adelson on Israel.”

Truth is, we don’t know if Romney differs from Adelson in re Pollard.

All we KNOW is that he isn’t willing to make such a pledge as part of the campaign.

There could be several reasons for that

      — not the least of which is that making such a pre-election promise might easily be viewed as “pandering” to the Israelis, the Jews, etc.

It most certainly WOULD be attacked that way by the Obami.

Romney’s response to the request at this time MAY simply reflect a solid sense of electioneering sechel.

I’d maintain an open mind in this regard.

    31. dweller says:

So far, and I will repeat, so far, the multitude of US spies in residence here have been spared albeit lately some of their hovels have been visited by counter intelligence operatives.
The fact that the Censor’s Office allowed that the information be released should not be ignored by their controllers at the CIA and the State Department.
Spying is a despicable undertaking but at times countries operate that ignoble profession at their own risks, if you get my meaning.
My guess is that none of them can fly that well, not just Pollard.

    33. yamit82 says:

I’d maintain an open mind in this regard.

Always willing to give the benefit of doubt to those you support but would you in writing give the same benefit of doubt and apologetic defense to those you oppose say like OBAMA? I think not… Hypocrite.

    34. dweller says:

      @ yamit82:

“All that’s wrong about this picture is the caption. They weren’t ‘Taliban’.”

“My My now you are a Mystic mind reader. Did I mention the word Taliban?”

No, you didn’t mention that word. And I’m not a “mind reader”

      — but I’m not too lazy to read the caption on a photo.

The caption on the snapshot to which you linked — in your first “Like this?” in post #24 — very clearly says “reagan meets taliban whitehouse.jpg”

I suggest you check it out for yourself — since you obviously haven’t, as yet.

Well, the folks in that photo WEREN’T “Taliban.”

      — So I said so.

“That said, [Reagan’s] taste in women make[s] these Afganis look good.”

That you would denigrate a woman (ANY woman) for her appearance

      — or a man for his taste in women

says VOLUMES more about you than about them.

      No class, Yamit.

      Zip. Nada. Zilch.

“[Reagan] married two who would have made Blackwell’s list of Ugly. They did make mine.”

For the record (if for nothing else, because this is all so stupid anyway) — Blackwell’s list isn’t about unattractive women, as such.

It’s specifically about women’s poor choices in attire & adornment.

Moreover, if you think the women RR married weren’t very pretty, I suggest you have a look at Johnny Belinda, the film for which Jane Wyman won an Oscar. She was very easy on the eye in those days.

And the Nancy Davis who appeared with Reagan in Hellcats of the Navy (early 50’s, I think)

      — wasn’t hired for the job because that film called for an acting “tour-de-force.” She was cast, like any starlet, because she was pretty.

Age takes its toll on all of us, Yamit.

I doubt that this is any different for you than for anybody else — of either gender. . . .

    35. dweller says:

      @ yamit82:

“I was direct and to your point.”

You were nothing of the sort in regard to the “Taliban” photo. Quite the contrary, you were decidedly OFF-point & dead wrong.

“That you are too obtuse to see the obvious and look for hidden meanings not intended or inferred shows what you are…”

Not too obtuse, however, to be incapable of seeing thru you like clear mountain water.

    36. dweller says:

      @ yamit82:

“Always willing to give the benefit of doubt to those you support but would you in writing give the same benefit of doubt and apologetic defense to those you oppose say like OBAMA? I think not…”

In that case you’d be wrong.

I’ve given the benefit of the doubt to opponents on lots of occasions. (SOME of those occasions have entailed giving such benefit to none other than YOURSELF.)

Not all opponents (nor all circumstances) WARRANT such consideration, however.

Obama, in particular, has been conspicuously — and systematically — opaque & guarded in re his past.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have I ever encountered any politico who went anywhere near so far out of his way to conceal & sequester his paper trail as this dude.

Any genuinely open-minded observer who isn’t struck by this — who doesn’t view it as extraordinarily suspicious — right from the get-go

      — is just plain stupid.

My Mama, OBM didn’t raise a total fool.

      “Hypocrite.”

      No. Inconsistent.

      Not all inconsistency represents hypocrisy.

The terms are not synonymous, Yamit, they merely overlap in some respects.

One doesn’t treat all persons, or all circumstances, the same

      — except when clear perception & rational judgment indicates that they ARE indeed the same.

      It’s called common sense, Yahnkele.

Regrettably, common sense isn’t all that common.

      But that’s not my fault.

    37. yamit82 says:

      @ dweller:

You are right you don’t have common sense and couldn’t explain what it is either. You are about 6th senses and cycloptic eyes. I would not think that a self described Mystic would be an expert in common sense, an oxymoron if there ever was one.

And of course it’s your fault. Officer Krumpke
