Hate Crime Stats Deflate ‘Islamophobia’ Myth

    David J. Rusin:

A detailed analysis of FBI statistics covering ten full calendar years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks reveals that, on a per capita basis, American Muslims, contrary to spin, have been subjected to hate crimes less often than other prominent minorities. From 2002 to 2011, Muslims are estimated to have suffered hate crimes at a frequency of 6.0 incidents per 100,000 per year — 10 percent lower than blacks (6.7), 48 percent lower than homosexuals and bisexuals (11.5), and 59 percent lower than Jews (14.8). Americans should keep these numbers in mind whenever Islamists attempt to silence critics by invoking Muslim victimhood. …

8 Comments to Hate Crime Stats Deflate ‘Islamophobia’ Myth

    1. Canadian Otter says:

THIS MUSLIM-WESTERN alliance…. Our governments, our media, our religious institutions, our schools, our artists – they are all becoming agents and tools for imperialistic Islam and the Fakestinians. Here is another case:

FACEBOOK has apparently caved in to pressure from pro-Palestinian Authority activists, temporarily banning Arab journalist Khaled Abu Toameh. Abu Toameh is an internationally-known (Muslim Israeli) Arab journalist who publishes in numerous media outlets around the world. He often writes controversial pieces (critical of) the Arab world, particularly the Palestinian Authority. His latest challenge to Arab dictatorship came Monday in a report on the trial of a former Jordanian intelligence chief facing corruption charges. –

The West not only tries to silence non-Muslim critics, but those few Muslim voices that dare to criticize the ‘Palestinians’ and their leadership. The US government has marginalized less fundamentalist US Muslim organizations and individuals, and warmly embraced the Muslim Brotherhood instead. The Fakestinians are seriously acquiring an almost sacred status. Any criticism is becoming SACRILEGIOUS

    2. Canadian Otter says:

NO WONDER the Western public believes whatever the “Palestinians” tell them about the “Occupation”.

Canadian (my face is red, believe me) university students can’t locate the Atlantic Ocean on a map.

Memorial University of Newfoundland professor Judith Adler tested them. She says: “Some students would circle Africa and indicate that it’s Europe, and if asked to locate England and Ireland, they would put them in Africa. I have had students that aren’t able to correctly label the Atlantic Ocean, even though we are on it.”

      Once again, location location location….
      That would explain it.

    4. Dean says:

Let’s face it, with a population of 1.62 billion, 23% of the world, it is hard to imagine that they get away with the claim that Islam is a minority and that they suffer from “Islamophobia.” What they suffer from is ignorance and what we suffer from is stupidity to believe their insane claims. Sure, many fear and despise Islam because it is the the most influential force in terrorism today. It is directly responsible for thousands of deaths (mostly Islamic) year after year. Minorities everywhere should tell Islamists to take a flying _____ when they start in with how they are discriminated against. The purpose in calling everyone else names is to shut down criticism of a religion that must be reformed and those within allowed to leave if its violence and inflexibility is too much to bear. There are much better options in terms of religious belief than Islam and I hope that Muslims speak up to change Islam or leave in great numbers to send the leaders a clear message that peace is what they want, not endless jihad, hate campaigns, war and terror.

    5. Canadian Otter says:

      Conspiracy? Or just chance.

The latest revision of the US psychiatry manual designated a lot of instances of normal human behavior as mental disorder – “disagreeing with authority” for example.

Now this US administration wants mental health checks before a person is allowed to buy a gun. Since according to that psychiatry manual one hundred percent of the human population could be diagnosed as “mentally ill”, that would completely end gun sales, except perhaps for bodyguards who protect anti-gun politicians and celebrities.

I submitted a comment to the “There’s No Reason To Ban” column, but it was zapped by Spam Filter. I hope this edited talkback here will get through.

    6. Canadian Otter says:

A free application providing users with vile quotes attributed to Hitler has been installed by over 10,000 users in the last 30 days through Google Play, the app store for Android products. The Arabic-language app, “Hitler’s Sayings,” allows users to read and share what it describes as Hitler’s “beautiful sayings that we could benefit from in our lives” via social media networks. A description of the app says, “Hitler combines the charisma of the skillful physician and the grand juggler…Read in this application all of Hitler’s sayings and share them with your friends.”

This news report comes at the same time as Facebook closes account of Muslim journalist Khaled Abu Toameh, who dared to criticize the Palestinian Authority, whose president Abbu Mazen is an outspoken admirer of Hitler.

    7. Canadian Otter says:

Obama’s latest attack on PM Netanyahu could make some Israelis vote for Likud just to show the meddlesome American government it can’t influence politics in Israel. If Netanyahu’s popularity rates go up as a result of Obama’s criticism, Bibi may want to send Obama a thank you note.

But maybe Israeli voters won’t be so easily swayed to support Netanyahu just to teach Obama a thing or two – and maybe they’ll want to ask some important questions:

      – Will the next Likud government do something about this?

Massive amount of rock throwing by ‘Palestinians’ near the Judean town of Tekoa today. (Graphic pictures) –

      – And this?

Beyond the security barrier, ARAB building is booming. Jerusalem’s Kufr Aqab neighborhood, which is inside city limits, is a wild west of unregulated construction. Dozens of apartment towers sprouting up illicitly in an Arab neighborhood of Jerusalem (Picture)-

    8. Canadian Otter says:

As I suggested on my previous comment here, Obama’s attack on Netanyahu has resulted in a rise in Bibi’s popularity.

Perhaps Obama believes all the hype about Bennett being “right wing” and would rather work with Bibi than with Naftali. Naftali may be too vulnerable to influences from the right, while Bibi is tough on the right.

Also, the PM has been rather coompliant after all. He stated his support for Two States, froze Yesha construction, has left Arabs do as they please, and is eager to talk to Abbas. Not bad. So by timing his attack, Obama has deliberately given Bibi a boost. (Yes, they can be that wily.)
